I do not agree with you shaylee. Since we got the bot we almost haven't had a single ?ban anymore. Instead the new bot has have had some bans. With this new bot we can also set the ban length more accurate then before. The time of a ban can be pinned down to the minute instead of only days with a ?ban. As you might have already noticed the bot gives a chat message as soon as someone is put on a warn (-t4 ). So you only have to pay attention and you will see what other staff members have done with the offender. And; staff can search the exact !ban history of a certain player, something the biller ?bang can't. Ofcourse staff needs to learn the commands and how to work with the bot. But as soon as it is used by everyone this bot will give the staff alot of advantages vs offenders. -MMaverick

As some of you might have noticed we are still having bot problems , especially the event bots. The 17th Parallel Bot team are trying to resolve the problems as soon as possible. Fortunately Explody Thingy has offered to be a permanent host for bots for 17th Parallel as soon as he gets his computers. So when we have the bots hosted by Explody Thingy all bots will be back up 24/7 and they will be updated more frequently. For now, thank you Explody Thingy :swift: -MMaverick

I doubt if another bot is the solution to the problem. Instead try leading your team to victory by keeping balling and communicating to your team with some macros. Another bot would mean another change in the whole pub play. I am not saying it is undoable though. -MMaverick

Yep . Some staffers got fired because of an abuse of their powers. They are the staffers everyone trusted to give powers to. The involved staffers were removed from staff. To see all current staff, type !staff in pub. -MMaverick

I would like to help you with the bots, atm I am really busy with !@#$%^&*ignments from 17th parallel but maybe I can help you in the future. One thing I don't like about your plan; State Of The Art means big files means big download and that is what I hate -MMaverick

Agreed, I also have alot of accidents clicking on the yellow and then my whole screen goes black to switch it to the game. It would be much better if there is a simple button or menu option with something like "Full Screen" or "Back" or "Back to Game". -MMaverick

I think it will be even better if you don't use the default subspace ships but make some real custom soldiers as ships. - I doubt if the greening for extra specials is a good idea. I never liked it. Maybe greening for extra shrapnel or for extra energy is a better idea then a whole extra special like anti. - Will there still be soccer with these setts, or is 17th parallel going to be battle only with these setts in your ideas? (Like capture the flag) - I also think you will be needing a real vietnam map to go with this, so that the tileset is way different then the current one. -MMaverick
