    also, would be nice to have the ?degrant command automatically append -%selfname to the end that way, we know which terrible mod is taking our money for something we arent doing. so there can be no confusion in logs. theres a reason its that way with *warn in subgame

    old problems are old, why would they be fixed when the people who know better (not that they play or anything) have not fixed them for as long as they havent? chances are this will just get ignored just like everything else. old possibilities, suggested when fields were removed, when this needed to be fixed in the first place: more expensive bricks: they shouldnt profit from stacking them. (2-3x current cost) penalties: (like cloak now is like -5 energy) possibly make a brick mount -5 repel, -5 burst freqwide brick timer: only 1 per team per x seconds shorter alive time: make them go away faster brick dies when the bricker dies fix bursts: why do 2 burst bullets kill a stock wb? lower damage fix bursts: or disallow them on ships 1 and 2 fix repels: make repeltime shorter fix repels: why do they need to take up 20% of the screen? this isnt eg fix either: force users to either green them, or go to ammo depots, or even sector 8. fix antideath: the 10 second delay ruins flag games, and a 1s delay will make it even lamer then ot already is, no way to fix

    omg, i never even thought of that. in every zone in subspace, theres an energy limit, which i believe can not be set, which activates when your ship goes into 'red' energy, at which point you see a little 'poof' gfx, and you lose 1 bty. i had no idea this was why players were getting extra deaths, i always chalked it up to shipchanging or buying things in safe... . --edit-- would be a good thing to have a bug thread anyways, your best and fastest way to find bugs is to ask your beta testers (players)

    Today, I noticed that since I was in the ID tunnel when the fg ended today, after the win, I was warped to center, and then engine failure'd after the appropriate ID delay, after still remaining in center safe. +1 death

  10. arry was spamming and hopping aliases, i was there. to his credit, it wasnt the same line over and over, just large amounts of crap noone cared about. arry got banned, came to cry on forums using big words and tried to act like he wasnt spamming. looks like he got the beatdown and recinded his comments. fixed, and agreed

    if you honestly even cared about that or meant that statement in any way, why was there more BURST bullets than GUN bullets in base 7 less than 20 minutes ago? and why is one person allowed to rep an entire team backwards for 3-5 seconds, without even needing ad? if you dont want players to be abusing things, when you fix things, keep it that way, instead of listening to the whining from the very same people that were abusing them, and making them even more overpowered than they started? and why does -1- burst bullet do 350 damage? the only armor that even reduces it is sig, and every other armor actually INCREASES this. did you know a stock wb, the ship your 'casual players' start with, has 850 nrg? you really want some idiot with 3 bursts to be able to kill 30 warbirds at once at zero cost? Cheese>?buy new_hs_settings_staff None found.

    edit: hello there, new page! for tl;dr: hs needs more variety @cer its cute that you try to claim that your 10 gun permutations is enough to cover all the non-'broken' kinds of guns. also note i never once mentioned money or xp. you say all guns are 'broken'? go back to trench wars, and leave settings to the people who actually PLAY hyperspace. which doesnt include you or arnk. guess how many red bombs have prox and 5 shrap? -0- guess how many bombs have prox and 5 shrap? -1- guess how many bombs have 5 shrap? -1- get the idea? by the way, did you know that instead of nerfing an item, you can simply make every other item better? basic relativity 101 for you.

    why have hundreds if you can have thousands? and do you really expect people to believe you when you say, "if you have hundreds of dollars, having thousands of dollars wont let you buy more"? and if thats your reason for lack of sig variety, whats your excuse for lack of gun/bomb variety? (l1+l2+l3+l4)*(prox*2)*(shrap*31)= ---> 248 bombs <--- (l1+l2+l3+l4)*(bounce*2)*(multi*2)= ---> 16 guns <--- ^thats not even taking into account possible differences in fire rates and energy costs. .

    theres really no reason why ideas like this shouldnt be used, id personally like more variety in items, ship builds, and pretty much in general. getting really tired of every ship in hs being the same due to lack of variety... i keep seeing item ideas being presented, and yet nothing happens. hyperspace IS supposed to be fully automated, but change is required until perfection is achieved.

  23. or simply do distension-style rewards where players are rewarded proportionally for their participation times. also make it sector based to prevent afkspinning.
  24. simple fix: put a TIME LIMIT on bricks per freq. time limit is up, that team can use another brick. CASE CLOSED
