so things have been looking pretty bad lately ive had to sit and watch zone after zone get infested with cancer and die. the development forums for ss died about a year ago, and have literally not received a single post for 2 months. the development team for the biggest zone is now dead, and is led by someone actively driving away developers. 3 large ssc hosts have shut down in the last year. mavericks statistics pages have the death of this game slated for some time in 2016: and thats just with a continued linear decay, which is extremely unlikely. personally, i expect an inverse exponential decay near the end, when people start quitting because noones playing, meaning the game could die as early as the end of 2014 if noone does anything about it. so whats going to happen? anyone doing anything to delay the inevitable somehow? any plans? also, tiny thumbnails are tiny

i should write some sort of program to copy a directory of subgame files into another for asss like a file conversion tool or something (directory creation, cfg -> conf, etc)

one problem with this is that you have to redownload each entire zone inside each other zone, and then dsb files will end in chaos folders and etc

tw has about 20 bots, and eg had about 50-60 bots last time i looked half the eg bots were just sitting in 1 event subarena just to boost population

wish dr b would come back from real life and take back control of his zone from these idiots

yes, just because players decide to win a flag game due to the other team ragequitting is great reason to abuse maybe you should do whatever the hell you feel like after every ragequit and any reason youre giving my bot money and then degranting it to try to throw off the balances? i know youre trying to be clever and all by abusing by kicking the bot, then degranting it before it comes back online, but it checks balances pretty much constantly abuse more plz

players wouldnt be swearing if the moderators were competent and non-abusive which probably wouldnt be happening either if you were in the zone why should the players bother following any rules if the moderators dont follow any rules?
