I'm not sure how many of you pay attention to British politics, especially when it's not a General Election - but I figured I'd just post this to see what you guys have to say on it anyway. The people who are up for election are: Richard Bambrook - British National Party Lindsey German - Left List Boris Johnson - Conservatives Sian Berry - Green Party Brian Pad!@#$%^&* - Liberal Democrats Gerard Batten - United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) Alan Craig - Christian Choice Matt O'Connor - The English Democrats Ken Livingstone - Labour My own opinions on each candidate, and how I believe they will do in the elections: Richard Bambrook: Racist. Uses terms like "Because it's not racist to oppose m!@#$%^&* immigration and political correctness - it's common sense!" - even though undercover footage shot with members of the BNP show Neo-Nazism. I believe that this party will only gain votes from white people in the most diverse areas, where change has made them afrade, and the least diverse areas where they have not been able to accept any kind of diversity. Lindsey German: Is tackling problems which will be too hard to tackle, and will set herself up for failure. She is going to try and fix the housing problems, by building thousands of low-quality council houses which will inevitably cause more crime, and is then going to attempt to cut prices on things which are already underfunded, and currently in sloppy condition - which will just cause more problems later. (Transport, Education, Health, Olympics). From what I can see, she doesn't seem qualified to be the mayor of London, however, I believe she may get a lot of votes from people who can't see through her vague promises. Boris Johnson: Police, Police, Police, Transport, Police, Police, Police, Money-to-the-people-of-London, Police, Police... The only agenda on Boris's mind. However, I think that he is going to be a very strong candidate in the elections, could possibly win. Sian Berry: Stupid party, should only be in place to try and change environmental policies, not run the city. Won't get into power, but does already have influence on other runners. Brian Pad!@#$%^&*: Former police officer, so his main goal is to prevent all crime, but is also aiming at improving transport and housing. Can't say much about this guy, because I don't know much about him, but he's gay. Hah. Might do well though, he's on the TV a lot. Gerard Batten: I like the policies UKIP is trying to enforce, but I don't know how real they may be. They're attempting to lower the amount of paper work police have to do, while putting more police on the street with powers to prevent youth crime. A good idea, however, I don't know how it will play out. Also, "Scrap the congestion charge" - he'd get my vote if he did. Don't know how realistic that is neither, though. I quite like UKIP, and the way it's currently going, even after it's previous fiascos, however, they won't get anywhere. Alan Craig: Annoying. Phail. Matt O'Connor: Is attempting to, as it seems, prevent the Scottish from getting any of London's money. Not too sure of his actual policies, but one of them is to make April 23rd a public holiday. Eh? Doubt he's going to get too far. Ken Livingstone: Current Mayor, and seems to have the most pragmatic policies, and has a very strong chance of re-election. I'd talk more about each of these candidates, but I'm really bored, however, it should be interesting to see what other people think.

Petrol stations state their own prices I think, that's why you find that petrol stations on highways are far more expensive, because they know people aren't finding another station in say 100 miles..

OWNED Anyway, it should display the price outside, if the price outside is still 16 cents higher after a reduction, then why bother going there? Just go to the one 3 minutes down the road.

We need a realistic advertising plot, the way I figure it, is that 1000's of people use highways/motorways all of the time, and there are often loads of bridges. Money is out of the picture here. People aren't going to pay for Continuum, if they are, then they're idiots. For people to actually pay for Continuum, all of the hosts would have to agree to it, and a new client would have to be installed, and what ever else, and if a specific zone would require payments, nobody would play it, because it would get ridiculed. I think the only payments are donations for things which actually cost money (hosting etc) - and they're made, by peolpe who can afford to make them, unfortunately, these donations aren't displayed to the wider audience (messages in DSB, TW, EG) and that's a bummer, but I'm sure that's an easier target to reach to than making a new client, server etc...

Well, I think she's going to have a kid, that's what everybody is saying?? I'm just saying, there's a time to grow up, and if you have a kid at 15, then there goes your childhood out the window. If you want to street race or do !@#$%^&* which probably isn't advisable, don't have a kid.

It's a shame, I live in a run down part of London and I see kids my age (17-20) getting knocked up, meeting with guys who are selling drugs pushing good cars now, but I don't see how they can possibly classify that as a good life? I'm sure that these guys won't be selling !@#$%^&* at 40, and these girls get a cheap council flat from the Government, live off the government and their children turn out as bad as they are, as the cycle continues and another kid becomes a drug dealer or gets knocked up early. It's such a shame when this happens in the UK or in the US, when it's so easy to break the bread-line. Anyway, in short. You're about to have a kid, grow up and leave the "ghetto" lifestyle, it's not cool, it's depressing. All these kids who come online.. "Ooh duude im from the ghetto man, guy got shot infront of me dudee how !@#$%^&*in' cool am I?!" are morons.. I feel bad for them. Shame half of them haven't even been in a run down area or even have an idea of what it's like to be poor or deprived.
