Using Bootcamp - Also, before the population started to drop fast, I think that I preferred working in a zone that didn't have much contact with other zones. I was a lot happier only having to deal with stuff within the zone, and only having to contact maybe a few other zone owners in a blue moon. -L

It's not my faith that God doesn't exist, it's my logical reasoning. I'll say it again, Atheism is *not a religion. Just because one can't disprove something that's impossible to prove, doesn't mean I require faith to not believe in it, it just means that the religious (those who believe in a deity) require faith to believe in something that cannot be proven. -L

Goodness me, there I was thinking that I never believed in God and never followed any religion, yet now I'm being told that I'm actually religious (by definition, have a belief in a deity)... A typical deluded view point that I am hearing so much more often now... Anybody can figure that article is extremist anti-religious drool, but to say that it's waffle because it doesn't contain 'scientific' sources is about as ironic as the post Freakman made... Bleh, I can't be bothered to continue. -L

Because without a drastic change to the world cultural and economic system, our civilization will be effectively dead past that point. Not to say it would be over for the human race as a whole, but it would really suck for 99% of the population. Global warming, wealth inequality, resource shortages, life-extension drugs, private armies, corporatized space travel, universally available WMDs - not a fun place to live. lol

Quantum of Solace was awful to watch; for many reasons. Firstly, there was no real plot. Secondly, it was not even slightly feasible. Thirdly.... What was it about again? What was the point in the way they attacked that building? (Casino Royal rocked though) -L

I am going to have the BMX ready for summer, because the ride to work I take is really nice - only a small part of it is on the streets. -L

Yeah, when I whinged I was seen to in an hour or so, I think that's pretty damn impressive. =D

Speaking of that, I finally bought a BMX and I've bought the hubs, spokes, rims, breaks (avid v's) and forks for it, just not bought anything else yet... Going to start assembling and spraying it soon, stripped it down to the steel frame so far, got the cans of primer and paint for a spray job, going to see if I can get a mirror finish. Maybe when the weather warms up a little though, right now it's too cold and I know I'll get drips around the welds. Was considering going dual slalom again, but I didn't have the money for all the accessories. -L (oh, and it's a diamond back ignitor, a low-end BMX, but it was the diamondback ignitor I had when I was 11 years old.. maybe younger, that I sold to a kid around the corner from me, who sold it to another kid... so on so forth... I swapped it for a Hope MonoM4 180mm disc break I had from one of my older bikes. =D)

You look at something which seems impossible, from your point of view and lack of knowledge, then therefore assume that there is an almighty power which created this impossibility. Take the case of even simple happenings when something happens. You'll find that three questions arise - what, how and why. You will get an answer to the first question within a short period of time, as it is physical in nature. You have to spend more time to answer the second question. It is mental in nature. Different persons may give different answers for the third question. But you will never get a true answer for it - it is philosophical in nature. This by no means proves any higher power, unless that is your own comprehension, therefore showing the futility of your question in the first place. (This is something I've written in a previous post). The nothing that *you get out, if somebody else feels like they're doing themselves a favour because they're going to church, then good for them. If we get to call them idiots for being deluded and nonsensical, then good for us. As to whether the world would be a different place, I'll answer that after I've proven infinity and had a word with God him/her... Oh wait, can't say that either... It's self? -L
