and with that at!@#$%^&*ude, that's the reason why you have random shooting sprees every month, and why you're 7 times more likely to be shot in the streets of America compared to Canada.

happy birthday. who's aaron? lol
-
LOL. HS isn't a better place because of this swearing rule. swearing STILL goes on, and most of the time unpunished. the staff likes to pick who they want to and don't want to punish. it's stupid.

you guys are so blind. the problem is that America, as a whole, hasn't banned guns country-wide. in Canada, where guns are banned, in a big city like, for example, Toronto... there are probably about 16-20 gun murders a year. the total homicide rate falls between 70- murders a year. this compared to, for example, Philadelphia which has about 360+ murders a year, and i'm sure the portion of that related to guns is a lot more than Toronto's. obviously, the gun laws have worked and have made the streets safer. Canada's problem, and the problem of increasing shootings in America comes from the ,000 stores who sell guns "legally". The states with little or no effective gun laws allows licensed stores to sell guns to anybody who doesn't have a criminal record. And, evidence shows that even those who have criminal records are still sold guns to. These people are gun dealers, who then smuggle large amounts of firearms to states that have strict gun laws (New York), and also up to Canada. Street shootings and gun crimes use illegally smuggled guns. Almost all guns in Canada and certain states like New York, come from places like Georgia and Virginia, where there are practically no gun laws. !@#$%^&* the NRA. they preach false information. at a little meeting they had, they falsely informed Americans, "Let's not go the direction that Canada has gone where their ban on guns have had no effects on gun crimes, because the gun crimes have increased." no. gun crimes have actually steadily declined. the reason why they're still existent is because of stupid laws in America that allow store owners to sell up to 20 guns a visit to OBVIOUS gun dealers, knowing that these guns will end up on the streets and in the hands of the wrong people. and let me add... as long as you have inconsistent gun laws in different states in America, you're always gonna see these shooting sprees. a strict gun law in one state means guns will be bought from dealers who smuggled them in from another state with a less strict gun law. it's contradictory.

lmao idiot, i can drive better than you, and that's guaranteed.
-
i'm not looking forward to driving this winter. i'm gonna try and avoid it as much as i can, don't feel like getting into an accident. stupid people don't know how to drive in snow.

i don't think JDS hated sean taylor. i think he was just frustrated at the fact that his death was made more important than it really was, compared to many other people who die.
-
it DOES hurt your chances. more people succeed in rich areas than in poor. all my friends grew up in the projects in new york, went to bad schools. everyone that i know in new york are worse off than they would've been had they been in a different situation. i can honestly say that half didn't even finish high school. most of them are working dead end jobs, and now have kids to raise. in a ghetto area, you're more likely to suc!@#$%^&*b to pure pressure and get involved with criminal activities because you don't really have a purpose of staying in school. i went to school in toronto, my school wasn't necessarily rich, but compared to the schools in new york, it wasn't that bad. (and in canada, there isn't really a relationship between amount of money a school has and academic success, it's more evident in america.) i'm in university now, but i wouldn't be if i stayed in my neighborhood in brooklyn. when i was there, what do you think i did all day? lol nothing productive. i got involved with a lot of bad things that i don't need to mention. the mentality there isn't necessarily optimistic. everyone there knew that continuing to live there wouldn't give them better chances, that's why i left, when i had the choice to stay there or come to toronto.
-
New York and Toronto, kinda been back and forth.
-
lol it doesn't matter what area i'm from. if an athlete died in my area who played for my home team, i really wouldn't care. it doesn't affect me any way. it wouldn't have such a big affect on me at all. life goes onnnnnnn. i can also say that if i died, i'm sure many people wouldn't care except for family and friends. so why should i care about people i don't know?
-
there IS something wrong with only famous people getting attention when they die. their murders are over-exaggerated and more glorified. i'm not saying i wanna hear about deaths that i care about. you completely misunderstood, which is weird because what i posted wasn't hard to understand at all. i'm saying that you guys are making such a big deal about this football player, when you hear about other stories of people dying, some in worse situations, and you don't make a big deal about it. oh, and if Iverson did die, i don't think i'd sit here and mourn his death lol. i'd be like "!@#$%^&*, he was such an amazing ball player." but life goes on. i don't know him on a personal level even though i watch all his games and i love him, that isn't enough for me really get that sad. like i said, i'm not saying it's right for JDS to bash him, but i understand why he did, out of frustration over the attention this guy is getting, when there are millions of other people in the world in the same situation, if not, worse. you guys need to understand where he's coming from.
-
lmao... stupid boys.
-
he's not a friend nor somebody i really care about. paying respects? no. for a CLOSE friend? yes. this doesn't mean that i don't feel bad but i'm not gonna sit here and cry over his death. like i said before, people die everyday. children die everyday. why don't you guys ever focus on them? everything is over-exaggerated because taylor's (kinda-since i didn't know him before this) famous. here's an example innocent victims that you don't hear about because they aren't famous: Spoiler! --Click here to view-- While the white media is senationalizing the OJ hotel theft case, this has gone virtually unreported. This happened in West Virginia , USA very recently and yesterday, Wednesday, 9/12th 2007, Megan Williams was still being treated for this in the hospital. She was Tortured and Raped for a whole week, by Six White individuals, Three males and Three Females Between the ages of 20 and 49. CNN normally does not reveal sexual assault victims' names. But Williams, who is hospitalized, and her mother, Carmen Williams, wanted her iden!@#$%^&*y revealed. Police said Bobby Brewster raped Williams, forced her to lick blood and drink from a toilet, and told his mother to kill Williams if she tried to escape. Authorities previously said Williams was also forced to eat rat and dog feces. According to criminal complaints filed in the county, Williams was !@#$%^&*aulted, stabbed in the left leg, choked with cords and beaten for at least a week. When she was found, big parts of her hair had also been torn off of her scalp. Williams says that Alisha Burton 22 cut her ankle with a knife while saying, "That's what we do to ASSS around here," police records show. "I don't understand a human being doing another human being the way they did my daughter," Carmen Williams told The !@#$%^&*ociated Press on Tuesday from her daughter's hospital room. "I didn't know there were people like that out here." Deputies received a tip and Saturday visited a home owned by Frankie Brewster in Big Creek , West Virginia . As the deputies spoke with a woman on the front porch, "a female inside the residence limped toward the door with her arms held out, saying 'Help me,' " according to a news release from the sheriff's department. "It's something you'd expect to see in a horror movie, not in Logan County ," Abraham said. "She was subjected to unendurable torture down there." The six are charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, malicious wounding and battery. If convicted of kidnapping, a suspect could face a sentence of up to life in prison. The penalty for first-degree sexual assault is 15 to 35 years. Abraham said he is seeking the maximum sentence on the kidnapping charges. In addition to the Brewsters, the suspects are Danny J. Combs, 20, of Harts, West Virginia; and George A. Messer, 27, Karen Burto n, 46, and her daughter, Alisha Burton, 23, all of Chapmanville, West Virginia. "They all have previous records and have been arrested numerous times," Sheriff W.E. Hunter said Tuesday. "They are familiar to law enforcement." Frankie Brewster was charged with first-degree murder in 1994, but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter in the death of an 84-year-old woman. She was released in 2000 after serving five years in prison, according to court records cited by the AP. All of the six individuals that are involved in this case are accused of 108 different cases of crimes all combined. All six were being held in lieu of $100,000 bail, and all requested court-appointed attorneys, the AP reported. Investigators are still looking for two other people suspected of driving Williams to the home, according to the AP. Carmen Williams had not reported her daughter missing, saying Megan Williams often disappeared for weeks at a time. Carmen Williams said she is "horrified" by her daughter's injuries. "She wakes up crying, and the first thing she hollers is 'Mommy,' " she said. Investigators are still trying to determine how the woman ended up at the property and whether she knew any of the six people arrested or two others, suspected of driving her to the home, who are being sought, said Logan County Chief Sheriff's Deputy V.K. Dingess. Police tape now surrounds the entrances to the beige-and-brown mobile home where Megan Williams, 20, was found. An extension cord runs from the home to the cramped shed, which authorities say she was held in with a portable stereo, a locker and a power saw.

not necessarily. american economy has actually been doing worse, hence the fall in the value of the dollar relative to canada and euros as well. first, second and third world still exists, and it's still useful because they have distinguishable characteristics in each one. using just "developing nations" doesn't really say anything.
-
i agree with JDS on the fact that many people die everyday, and more attention is given to people with status. it's tragic but life goes on, many other innocent people die of gunshot wounds.
-
that won't get him banned either. don't know why he doesn't like the guy but he must have a good reason? lol.
-
i don't think he can get banned for having that banner up lmao.
-
it may be disrespectful but he is en!@#$%^&*led to his own opinion. if that's how he feels then let him be.
