  1. First of all I am not sure why the topic was locked and I apologize for starting another. I know at one point Audrey had a server for MG hosted by LYNX. I'm sure he would be willing to host the zone and the reason its not there is because no one was using the server. It seems that its worth it to the community to have a zone like Metal Gear up and running. I know that the zone isn't up know because Team Audrey doesn't want to manage the zone, I assume they don't have the time. I know for a fact that I could make an MG Clone zone on ASSS and be a fully functional CTF zone. As for events and sub arenas, thats for someone else lol. I guess the real question I have is, who's going to be the person to "run" the zone? Which really only takes a few dedicated people and may not be needed at all if the zone gets developed further by the right people. I know that Cheese! had interest in remaking the zone and I know he is 100% capable of doing that. Is this going to happen with other people? I mean, I'll through the zone up and see what happens. Oh yeah, Happy Independence Day America!
  2. Xog, your issue is that the client will only use the first two working directories and ignore the rest after that.

  4. Recently SSL upgraded to a 64-bit server and had some other updates as well. Tri-Sector was down for a few weeks but is back now with some new changes. Before you had to manually fly over every flag to capture it, but now each Sector has a Turret / Guard which can be killed. When you kill the Turret you will remotely capture all 4 sector flags. The Turrets and the new capture method were just added this week along with some new graphics. The lower section of the map has been tiled over with stone walls, and a center graphic as been created. Please use the SSCL Tri-Sector forums and give us any feedback or go to http://ctf.krslynx.com where you can find stats from every turf game as well as a feedback form and other information. If you have never played SSCL Tri-Sector please visit the zone and read the F1 menu for objectives and information. Thanks
  5. There is nothing wrong with DSB. It was the first zone I played in back in 2000. And its still a great zone. Some issues: 1. The public / events never updated or developed. 2. A lot of "vet" players that call anyone new newbie and troll them to not play. 3. If this game wasn't dead, neither would DSB be.

  8. Yeah, I read that and sent Arnk a message. Hoping we can get a working 64 bit security module soon.
  9. Well, that doesn't make a lot of sense, because for the past 6 months thats how I had run it. But now the server is running on 64 bit and the security module(s) wont load because they are not compatible.

When I enable enc_vie and comment enc_null out, I get the same message from the client, but nothing shows up on the console when I try to enter. The log file doesn't show the same as the console.
  11. Also get this, " W got data on client port not from any known connection: " Then it just list the ip and port of the biller. I have tried this with SSC and another biller with the same results.
  12. Just billing_ssc, and yes it works find without any billing module. After leaving the server on for a little while, the console gets spammed with " D (client connection) reliable packet with too big delta (-##longnumber## - 0) "

  14. I have run my server and it runs fine, and it says it connects to SSC and logs in. When I try to enter the zone, from the client side, it says: Failed to connect to server. Check to make sure its online...... From the console side it says "authenticating with 'billing-auth' Then kicks the player for "no data" Any idea whats going on?
  15. I would suggest making them having some sort of theme / style. The two ships posted are 100% different. I just think it should be a set of ships with similar style.
  16. I usually use ssgn.net its easier then typing forums.ssgn.net and I can see the lastest news. I know a lot of people still use the old ssforum address.

    The 'Multiplication' in 6/2(1+2) is not 2*3.. Its 6/2*3 So getting 6/6 is wrong. The equation ask what is '6 divided by 2' multiplied by '1 plus 2'. The answer is 9.
  21. I don't meant to hurt any feelings, but this seems really... really... um... Let me just say things nicely, greatest idea EVER!
  22. I thought I would really like the locked rotation where the screen rotates, not the ship.. It really hurts to watch!! Made me dizzy haha. The map graphics that show up on the radar there, those get a wave affect and look really choppy. Its takes nearly a minute to load from the 'black screen'. 63 FPS, and I really don't like the shake affect with you warp to start.
  23. I get 'EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION' when choosing either DirectX, and nothing with OpenGL, but also nothing happens at all.
  24. Yeah, but it stays at 100% afertwards, and my fan stays on high speed.
  25. Why is continuum using 100% of my CPU? It even spikes when going from full screen to alt-tabbing. Seems odd to me.
