  2. Yesterday: Indianapolis - 15 Baltimore - 6 Philadelphia - 24 New Orleans - 27 Today: Seattle vs. Bears New England vs. Chargers Good for Indie, and if New Orleans wins the Super Bowl, I'm going to quit watching football, then I know it's fixed. Go Bears, crush the Seahawks again, and go Patriots, even though it's going to be a rough one.
  3. Didn't plan on putting Vista on it. The intergrated graphics would be replaced, and 80GB is large enough for me.
  4. Hewlet Packard: Intel Pentium 4 524 3.06GHz with HT, 533MHz system bus, 1MB L2, 512MB PC2-5300 DDR (expandable to 2GB, two slots), 80GB 7200rpm SATA, 48x DVD/CD-RW Combo, integrated Graphics, Realtek 8100c 10/100, Norton Antivirus 2005, XP Pro SP2, Microtower, 2 PCI slots, 2 PCI Express Full slots, 6 USB ports, 1 serial, 1 parallel, 5 drive bays (3 open), Vista compatable (whoopdy doo)...$477 No monitor. Deal or no deal?

  6. A nice little tweak for XP Pro. MS reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for their own purposes (suspect for updates and interrogating your machine etc..) Here's how to get it back: Click Start-->Run-->type: gpedit.msc This opens the group policy editor. Then go to: Local Computer Policy-->Computer Configuration-->Administrative Templates-->Network-->QOS Packet Scheduler-->Limit Reservable Bandwidth Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab. So the trick is to ENABLE reservable bandwidth, then set it to ZERO. This will allow the system to reserve nothing, rather than the default 20%. Works on XP Pro, and 2000.
  7. I'm pretty sure this thread has no purpose being in this forum.
  8. http://forums.sscentral.com/index.php?showtopic=6782 It's been pinned since Febuary 2005. Why people don't read it is beyond me, and why admins don't enforce it is again, beyond me.
  9. fixed.
  10. I hate your birthday threads. Why can't you just PM the people?
  11. Ok, another locked spam thread in the spam forum...are you guys re!@#$%^&*ed or something? I'm just wondering...And oh yeah, nice job following the rules and posting when you lock a thread.
  12. the kid's gotta point...why IS this topic still alive?
  13. yah, i'm pretty sure this will be moved to the spam forum nice comparison though
  14. This was back in 2000 before abandonware was constructed. Continuum is abandonware, BDE has no rights to anything anymore. They gave up all rights when they decided to no longer pursue development of the application (as far as I know).
  15. Why not point it to sscentral and help them?
  16. Everyone wants to have their own site in the name of helping the community, yet it doesn't do anyone any good to have 1394 different "central" news sites. Quit buying domains, quit creating more sites, work together and make ONE site, instead of tons of little "one" sites. SSCentral has a proper domain, dedicated people, designers, a domain that's been around longer than the rest of yours, and a project already under way. Quit making more sites to inflate your e-ego and work together. subspacenews.com, subspace.ws, sscontinuum, ssbase, ssnewsletter, ssblog...ffs people, work together instead of seperate, then this game might actually have a chance of surviving. Put your re!@#$%^&*ed personal differences aside and help make ONE site.
  17. So sscentral won't have any news then? That's news to me.
  18. The force runs strong with him. Beware: http://quotes.sscentral.com/index.php?1526
  19. You mean this: http://www.subspacenews.com/ Someone already beat you to it.
  20. 1. Seen it, nothing special. 2. Nifty. Magnets are fun. 3. I've seen this before, and it's freakin sweet. 4. Ha 5. I've seen this dude before too on Comedy Central, quite funny. 6. That's pretty cool. 7. Meh. 8. !@#$%^&* Cheney jokes are old now.
  21. I didn't like Re-up, it just wasn't Eminem's best work and seemed more like a, "hey, look at my friends rap" album, which just annoyed me. I buy an artist's album to hear the artist, not everyone else. Ludacris though had a good year.
  22. orly?
  23. What's your favorite album(s) of 2006? Who was your favoirte artist/band(s) of 2006? Most improved band in 2006? Best new artist of 2006? Keep in mind most people here are from the U.S. If you're overseas and have a band that no one here has heard of, post a url for some sample music, or website, so we can get to know them too. Here's mine. In Your Honor - Foo Fighters | Stadium Arcadium - Red Hot Chili Peppers | Phobia - Breaking Benjamin | Good Monsters - Jars of Clay | 10,000 Days - Tool | Wolfmother - Wolfmother Foo Fighters | Jack Johnson Breaking Benjamin Wolfmother
