... ? Are those miles per second? If so, gtfo and learn real units 5400000 km/s Americans use imperial as opposed to metric because metric uses bigger numbers to compensate for certain shortcomings. For instance, a 7" penis doesn't seem like much compared to a 17.8 penis. But the rest of the world has to use CM to make theirs seem bigger. "Mister American, how long is your penis? Mine is 17.8 long" "Really? Wow! Mine is only seven inches..." See how it helps a foreigner feel better about themselves, until they realize that they've got the same size penis but measured in different standards?

That means Columbia was traveling at a rate of 3353076 per second or roughly from here to the Sun in 27 seconds or here to mars in just under 11 seconds or roughly 74.558 hours from here to Proxima Centauri or 166666.66 years from here to the Pegasus galaxy or.... *SLAP* ok, shuting up now.

Ok, as promised after weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell over a year or so, a new release to Thirdspace. There's info in the readme and the thirdspace.pdf if you're interested in what to do with this. A few words of note: May shut down prematurely due to a memory leak somewhere. The "ass-kicking bug" has been fixed. Hosting a zone is still only possible from the client, I'm still working on a solution that'll take care of the host having to be there. Here's the link to Thirdspace.

Ok, the modified and skinned Lancaster.lanc1.zip

You mean my lanc. Knew someone was going to do that. Think you could gimme that model? Nice textures though! *Gets started on weasel* Offtopic: Why are the most used smileys on the bottom of the menu that pops up for them? My mistake, I mean your Lancaster. Sure, I'll post the updated version tomorrow sometime.

Video projector with at least 1800 lumens to project on a wall to create a 64 inch sized image

Ok, I thought that was just a creepy come-on... Actualy, you can edit the macro insults in the macros.txt file. When you say you could run straight through the object, what do you mean? The UFO thing you made in-game? The object collision isn't perfect, and sometimes you can get repped through a wall by you enemies. But if the walls are as thick as 5p (average diamater of a ship) then the ships shouldn't be able to pass through.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand, here's some redone models for Thirdspace. I threw away my old lancaster because it looked like crap when compared to Diwa's lanc. However, I signifigantly modified the engines on it to make it more comprable to the original.

Yes, it may be 3D, but, what it isn't, it isn't a subspace ship... so it isn't on topic. Unless, it only bothers me, and everybody else doesn't mind including the other stuff also...? Well, maybe this is more on topic than a ball of metal strings: And yes, it is the latest one.

Agnosticism is when you require proof of God or a higher being (big hand coming down from the clouds and smacking the BeJesus out of you) Atheism is the denial of a higher being and creator and that you were a scientific accident. Faith is what you believe and how strongly you believe it to be. Religon is what someone else tells you to believe because you're outnumbered thousands to one.

Made a Thirdspace teaser movie a couple years ago when it was still callec Continuum: Next Level. But yeah, much has changed, so I think I'll do that again. And what's wrong with tsconfig.xml? I mean besides the fact that no good front end exists to modify it yet and has to be done manualy, which could kill the app prematurely. (face turns slightly anime due to overexplaining and talking fast)

Mommy got mad... Just kidding (for now) Actualy Savannah's fighting eczema, and losing. It's getting better though, she's finally sleeping. She's not been happy for the past two months, and constantly crying, rubbing, scratching and smacking herself to stop the itching. You'll note the handsocks she's been forced to wear. The worst has been on the back of her neck, there's this horrid looking red welt that looks like a bird laid its egg under her skin. She's always fidgeting. I believe this is also in part what has hampered her trying to crawl. She's more concerned with her backside than her stomach. Ok, I know I've seriously dadded out over the past year... It's more about baby and less about that game.... Somethingspace or whatever... ;p

Average dimensions of a typical ship is 6x6x6. Some are larger and some slightly smaller. firing hole sizes I'd recommend be no less than 5x5. The only problem with the firing holes is that if you use missiles and the target's moving by before you fire, then you do, the missiles use a target lock feature which will cause them to follow the target ship. If you're not careful, you could blow yourself up in the process of blowing them up. (yes, self-inflicted death by shots and collisions are possible now)

The versions of Trenchwars that have been rendered in 3D for Thirdspace are lackluster at best. There are two versions of the map right now, one that looks like a spacecraft carrier with a solar panel sail, and the other like a flatened out castle in space. Here's the rules: High res photo-realistic textures, no larger than 1024x1024 Must be done in Milkshape format (no longer using DirectX 10 models) Must be faithful to the 2D trenchwars map Top and bottom of the tunnels and flagroom must be closed up Tunnels must be no less than 10x10 wide to allow one way traffic but give the possibility of missed shots No more than ten textures to be included with the model The model must be no larger than 600x600x600 in size The prize is.... you get GFX and 3D credits in the game and something to add to your career portfolio and a serious nod from your peers.

This probably has been mentioned to (over)death countless times on countless revisions of this board. Something similar has been implemented called Andromeda9. 3D top-down version of SS/CONT. Complete with barrel rolls, rendered damage to the ships and so forth. The big difference is that A9 has no population and therefore is about to die. Do what I've done, steal some code, slap it together with some of your own ideas, make SS2 work the way you want it to. Me personaly, I like the Thirdspace layout, minus the fact that mines and a couple other items have become obsolete in the game. Don't get me wrong. I still like SubSpace, but I also like being in my ship as well, not just watching the gameplay from above.

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3620/3587887424_055748005d.jpg Savannah's Crib and part of the artwork I did in her room. The artwork is in 3D but you can't tell from the photo. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3593/3587971424_cd70861ddd.jpg Savannah starting to stir after a car ride. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2262/3587887180_6609bbd771.jpg Wearing daddy's tie and feeling just as miserable about it. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3380/3587885658_9080dacfd9.jpg Crawling away as fastliest as I caaaannnn.....!!! http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3594/3405070241_e3b15b8dfd.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3653/3405884242_9381319282_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3653/3405074625_abc0a49685.jpg And Doctor Doom fighting an undead Superman in the upcoming Leigon of the Undead crossover (prequel to Marvel Zombies) Ok, so the last few aren't my baby girl, just some fun with comic book characters.

I clicked it because I wanted to see something funny happen, like the scare maze or that link that says nice bunch of breasts only to show a black guy holding a bucket of KFC.

I'm sure only a little bit of that creative code has been ported to the recent release. She's active like mommy, but hasn't started talking yet (like mommy) but far better attitude (like daddy) so she'll probably be more artistcly inclined. Let's just hope she doesn't start drawing on the walls (like daddy did) *mumbles* with feces and paint. Before you know it, there's C++ code all over the house Or worse, remember that scene in that episode of the X-files where that girl was doing binary code in the form of a large picture of mulder's sister on her parents living room floor, and when they scanned the code in sequence it was the answer to some impossible mathematical problem that's taken gov scientists fifty years to solve but couldn't? Grrr.... Fine, I'll start sharpening some pens or something...

This is akin to something T4 and I tried a few years ago, revamping Continuum's graphics, doing a full update on its look and feel. Now that the newer shipsets are coming together, how about something that'll allow us to change the size of the side icons (Lbullets and the like showing our weapons status) from the 16x16 size icons to larger. I've devised smoketrails for the bombs so they have a psuedo-alpha channel appearance to them (translucent over backgrounds), new ships, bombs, mines, flags, bullets, planets, blah blah. When I get home, I'll see what you've packed in these rar files Jab.

Sass, I bet that ship constantly goes to Uranus alot. bwhahahahaaa....

Install VirtualPC and run a copy of XP or Win98 in it. Better yet, ditch Vista altogether for it is garbage... Gotta say Diwa, more than impressed with your warbird. Infact, more than impressed *points a thors hammer at you* gimme the Warbird... NOW! I only made low-res versions for Thirdspace for the sake of processing power, but after seeing these models, I'm gonna say f*** the 250-300 mhz machines with 64mb of ram and a 16mb video card... They can get upgraded after all this time, it isn't 1998 anymore after all.

She screams, poops and punches just like her mother... Yeah, I meant that. You try and cleaning up adult size racing stripes... A C-section shouldn't cause that. But no, she doesn't even know what a computer is yet... She's three months old.

The ones I did were posted by Jab after I released the Alpha for Thirdspace. They should be earlier in the subject and in a couple of other posts.
