My opinion on gay marriage is this. I don't personally like the idea of two guys or two girls getting married, but honestly, that is their decision. This is their life, and the government has no right telling anyone they have no right getting married. That's the government controlling a person's (in this case two people) life. The government is not there to tell people how to live life. Government is there to just watch over everyone and make sure everything is going fine, not to interfere with personal situations. And it should be the same thing with religion and government. Religion should not be used to determine what laws to pass There should not be a law saying gay marriage is illegal because the Bible says it's bad. It's the same thing with abortion. Yes, it's a touchy issue and we all want to come to a conclusion on whether it is a necessary evil or just plain wrong and we shouldn't do it. The government isn't any more qualified to make that decision than we are. They can't make a law that say's abortion is illegal just because the Bible says its bad. That's why the founding fathers came up with seperation of church and state. The Church should not influence political leaders when they are making their decisions about passing bills into laws. Truth is, who cares about gay marriage. Are they really bothering anybody when they get married.....no, only touchy extremist church people. Those are the ones that need to wake up and realize that the world is not heaven and never will be. As for abortion, it is a necessary evil. The world is already over populated, and it's either kill a zygote made up a few cells or get fixed, or deal with insane overpopulation in which we wouldn't be able to feed all these unwanted babies and they'd probably die anyways...

Got an idea dealing with multi-ship DTs. We can have a jav DT and a multi-ship DT. They will be completely seperate from eachother. We can either set them up to be on the same day, or have multi be on sunday and jav be on wednesday.

were not noobs here delic, ive been playin for 3.5 years man. look, all i said was "try". I never said make it a permanent fixture into the zone. The key to making a successful zone is to try new things. Well this is a NEW thing! Look what happened last time, the zone is overrunned with jav events and people lost interest....and leave. Man that was a great DT last night. How many peoples showed, 3? 4? Really I have no idea why people did not show up. Quite possibly because of the Sunday Night football on NBC, but honestly it was the Bengals and whoever they were playing. Honestly, the Bengals??? Who cares, i know Cincinati doesnt. Its the.......Bengals, who cares! Yea Maddon was on, but it was the................Bengals. We shouldnt be moving a scheduled weekly event to another day, we should be adding a 2nd scheduled weekly event to wednesday. Have DT on Sunday and then somethine else on Wed. And to make more people interested, the pubbers and multi-ship people, we need to host a multi-ship event. Someone mentioned it in another thread but we need to get a multi-ship event in there, it killed 17th before with nothing but jav-based crap everywhere. We need diversity in here, host sblm or somethin to that nature. And to those who only say we'll have the multi-ship people complaining about jav tankers......how do you know this until ya try. atleast try......whats to be lost? just try.....

Say conduct a 5 week DT tournament and add up points or go by winning percentages? Go by whoever has the best kill/death ratio over 5 weeks, or who has the best win/loss ratio after 5 weeks to see who goes into a playoff? Im throwing out ideas here, give some feedback or some other ideas.

there arent that many 17thers in dsb. all there are were just me, marioman, kidnorad, oreo, saw zak in there once, adam a couple of times. maynard was in there for an east prac once....and deliq, but i dont think deliq really left 17th anyhow.

Yawn....tremendous yawn....we need to host a multiship event. we need more than just the jav pop to participate in a league. wat was that one league. sblm? should host that, i honestly cant remember the last time that league was hosted, probably 2-3 years ago. I think its due..

Indeed, all these ideas are awesome. The main problem is getting a pub started with 5v5 or more as Jay said. Thats the simple solution to get things running again in the daytime. I would play during the daytime if i didnt have to work or had school, but hay thats life, and im glad i have one. Just get some euros playin during their primetime hours, and just have them spread the word about the game to friends and such.

SGC is my squad i started. The plan is to get around 5 base players during this reconstruction phase of 17th. Then when things start going and leagues are being played again, should have a good squad by then.
