Common sense dictates that you do not mess with an already damaged mind. Seems like common sense is not as common as we like to think.

3 scores caused by poor safety play. Take away the poor safety place (add in a healthy Troy Polamalu) and the fluke flea-flicker among other plays would not have happened. Take away the three scores and it is a tie game. That being said, the Pats were the better team that day. But I don't put much stock in a regular season game like that. Particularly when the playoffs are just around the corner.

Steelers aren't !@#$%^&*. Our safeties just played like re!@#$%^&*ed burn victims that game. Don't put any stock in a regular season victory, especially one that does not include backup safeties missing ez coverage, and an absent Troy Polamalu. The fact of the matter is, 21 of the pats points were scored on errors, misreads, or general stupidity on the part of safeties. The positives are that the Steelers offense could essentially do whatever it wanted (just have to convert in the red zone more), AND that the Steelers pretty much validated the perception that anyone can run through the ancient, Patriots linebackers.
