  1. actually, i was just kidding. although no topics have ever been put on here about the problems in africa, the united states/un actually gives plenty of money to african countries. president bush personally called the leader of Darfur and catalyzed peace talks. the un also has sent peacekeeping troops, and right now it is a relative calm. i didn't mean that the united states doesn't care about africa, i meant the people on this forum dont... as there are no topics about it.
  2. poor africa. no one cares about genocide there.
  3. oh yea, all the anti-war bull!@#$%^&* being spewed on 3/4 news channels really shows the influence that the government has on the media. let's just give any group of people whatever they want.
  4. Astro, please stop being so god !@#$%^&* ignorant about conservatives. you sound so uneducated when you stereotype an entire group of people like that. you seem to not have a problem with my ideas most of the time -- and i'm one of those homophobic, prisoner-killing, fetus-saving, racist and any other stereotyped conservative that you hate.
  5. let's take the subspace losers and give them even less social interaction!
  6. protestants persecuted catholics just as much as catholics persectuted protestants in the 1500s and 1600s. "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due." "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." "And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh" actual quotes from the Bible. i'm not even really religious. i don't go to Church every Sunday. i drink. i smoke. some may say i 'debauch'. but i don't believe that quotes like these are apt for as radical interpretations as would be necessary to believe that the Bible does not condemn gay marriage. i have no problem with gays. my best friend just came out. there's nothing wrong with it. i just feel that gay marriage (being of the religions sense) is wrong. i believe also, however, that homosexuals with civil unions should be recognized by the state and that there should not be any STATE laws governing marriage by any means. same rights, different name and connotation. anyone else agree?
  7. Giving the land back to Palestine is an even worse idea than giving the land to Israel in the first place. The jews and the muslims in that area will still continue to hate eachother. The Palestinians lost the land fair and square and need to quit their !@#$%^&*ing. Lebanon could not control the people within its borders from hurting Israel in some way or another -- that is fact. Of course the United States will support the only true democracy in the middle east in putting a collar on a terroristic organization. And the US isn't helping Lebanon at all, right? 230 million dollars is nothing, right?
  8. they didn't do it in the air though. i think that would affect the results.
  9. I think Spyed being netbanned is uncalled for.
  10. I didn't say anything about priests. Churches on the other hand are Christian. It says in the Bible that marriage is between a man and a woman, and it also condemns homosexuality. Thus, churches shouldn't marry homosexuals (not saying that they shouldn't get civil unions with the same rights as marriages). are you !@#$%^&*ing kidding me? the Bible is the entire basis for Christianity. what it says goes.
  11. i wonder what religion astro is.
  12. churches shouldn't marry gays and the government shouldn't tell churches not to marry gays.
  13. you don't understand. i don't think that the state should make gay marriage illegal -- i think churches should... seeing as how it is an ins!@#$%^&*ution by the church. then homosexuals can have civil unions and get the same tax breaks, etc, as married couples. stop trying to twist what i say... i can't even guess where you got that 'going to jail for saying the word marriage' thing
  14. why would they go to jail for saying it?
  15. seems like the people that died were a different crowd than those that play subspace. i could be wrong though.
  16. they'd die. one less terrorist to worry about.
  17. how many surveys have i ever quoted? and i do believe that civil unions should have the same rights -- i never said otherwise. anyone who pays taxes should have the same rights as anyone else.
  18. why did they most likely play ss?
  19. iPods and laptops are banned on planes right now. it's hard to move an army through one door.
  20. marriage is a religious practice -- the Church, however, should be the one regulating who marries and who doesn't. civil unions belong for the state.
  21. those surveys are years old, and only surveyed several thousand people... not a lot to stereotype the entire South. if you believe that marriage is between a man and a woman, and liberals are for gay marriage, then yes; liberals are destroying the sanc!@#$%^&*y of it. ps. who cares?
  22. yes, the "where there's a will, there's a way" cliche applies in this case... but just because someone can still bring explosives on to a plane from within their anus, does that mean they shouldn't tighten up security? even if it's temporary?
  23. You guys are very bad at sensing sarcasm.
  24. It's all a set up to divert attention away from the Israel-Lebanon conflict and to give more respect to the Republican party. It's all Bush's fault, too.
  25. verizon
