2x Xbox & 1x 360 Ps1 & Ps2 Wii, 64, Super, Nintendo Atari Sega Genesis, Dreamcast 2 laptops, 1 PC, probably 3 pcs worth of parts Also got one of them cool little joystick games, stocking stuffer few years back, fun stuff.
Halo's website doesn't work, neither does Powerball's SSCT Star Wars webpage is http://starwars.sshq.net not http://starwarzone.com you may whant to fix that Didn't notice he even did that. I had SSCX Star Warzone already up anyways, so just figured that was it. Didn't add SSCT Star Wars yet.
My Next 2 days are going to be spent working on SSCentral.com itself. The site isn't going to be laid out as originally planned, but should still be rather functionable, and will have it up and running sooner than later. I am also removing the login functionality of the site, and planning a different feature in that location. The issue is the cookie cannot be carried between SSForum and SSCentral, and we have no needs for login on the site besides an admin section. This will also help speed up release of the site as I will not have to code cookies, login control, referencing back to ssforum, etc. I finally have my laptop setup properly and comfortably enough to continue work on all of this, so I shall begin again.
Done All 5 SS Network Websites now display the Navigation bar (SSCentral, SSForum, SSDL, SSQuotes, SS Tracker). Also, will be redesigning it a bit, and adding a nice Ajax feature for checking for major ss news announcements. (Again, most of this ajax scripting work and other stuff is testing and reminding myself some coding for the admin side of sscentral.com)
Like Dav said. It was turned off due to a high spurt in name trading and stolen names being unretrievable by the original owner. But really, name trading(/character trading) is unavoidable in any game.
Since I voted, I guess I'll answer. I'd say maybe allow 2 messages from a single person, but the reason it was limited to 1 on SSC was the chance of spamming someone's ?messages to their full limit constantly. We know people cross zone spam, and this wouldn't be something they'd hold back on.
There would be no way for them to change or get access to your password, as they'd need this access on SSC itself. See, the thing is, players worry about losing their precious names off SSC, and obviously, tagging names would be kinda dumb, as you may never know if the non-ssc name is really the SSC person, or vice versa. I've known some non-ssc zone owners who use a name other than the one they own on SSC, because it is owned on SSC and not on theirs.
Uhhh... I left the Council in like early 04? Was not too long before this. Bout the time we 1st began seeing signs of our game losing m!@#$%^&* population.
The thing is, everytime the Pats went against a decent team, or even a team just barely rallying together, it was a VERY close game. So once they go head to head with a team who want to win more than they do, I think it is going to be an interesting game. I think the Pack would beat em in a superbowl. I'd love to see my home team go again (Seahawks), but I think the Packers are more deserving than any other team in the NFC right now. And what Favre has to play for is going to give him more motivation than anyone else.
