I mean, look at how things are going in the US. Politics are no longer a debate on the topics, it's how bad you can attack and make your challengers look. Every day we lose more and more freedoms, and there is now reason for some people to not believe their votes are even counted. So what if you think they're wrong, they really should have no true proof or reason of this to cause any doubt, but sadly they do. I question it failing in my lifetime, but I have a feeling that in my children's or grandchildren's lifetime, the US will hit that critical point of internal hate, and something big will happen. (Side Note: let's see if we can't get into personal attacks in this, as many of you love to do in every thread i've so far read. That's half the reason i've made this post.)

You forget. The US was a different place and people thought differently then. We never knew there was going to be some terrorist attack, we never knew our security was flawed. To all of US, america seemed fine and safe. 9/11 proved that wrong, but I still think we've now gone overboard with the security just a bit. It seems like the beginning of big brother, but luckily under some slight control.

I suggest you all sometime maybe rent or buy the movie Uncle Suddam. Can probably find it at your local Sun Coast (not sure if they're beyond the west coast us) that's where my friend got it. We watched it, and it's rather amazing to watch. Saddam went from a loved and great leader to a evil dictator like over night during the end of the Reagon era. It was mostly the people he put in charge who started and did a lot of the evil things that were done. But when he later learned of them, it was about the time of the end of the reagon era, and Suddam changed greatly. This guy's family helped him run the country, and by the end of his ruling, he had eliminated, exiled, or put into lockdown almost his entire family. Really crazy movie, and gives you a whole new outlook on saddam and how he lived. He had a huge fear of germs and dirt, and wanted his people to be happy, and to see a clean happy leader.

Every Coordinate is 52x52 A1 = 0,0 - 51,51 But T is only 35,52. It's 17 tiles skinnier then any other coordinate on the map. Nothing important really, just noticed it when working on a bot. Oh, and there is over 1million tile spaces on a single map. That's a lot of space to work with.

easier then that, but fixed either way.

Probably was before scorereset. So that's all that happened. Nothing wrong with your continuum or anything. Every 2 weeks it happens, so kind of get use to it.

Was the last time you logged on before Wednesday? SSC* Scoreresets = Every other Wednesday. Last was on the 14th, next will be on the 28th.

it's erroring when trying to load the default chatbg.bm2 info from the .exe. Just make a 1x1 pixel black square and save it as chatbg.bm2 and you'll never have the problem again.

In reply to Dr. Worthless. There was actually a report done by some guy, forget his name now, we discussed it in class a few months before the war. But all his possessions were gone through, he found his room tapped, and some of his film went missing before he left. They were told they could go anywhere, and see anything they wanted, and yet when they'd try to go somewhere they wanted, they were denied and told there was nothing interesting there.

That just got posted too. Nice find SuSE :-P reply to your side: Our media also needs to span all sides of stories, rather then just what its owner wants.

Sadly the past can sometimes show what could happen in the future.

US History books are certain levels of biased depending where you go. When one of my cousin's was up here from the south, he had to write a paper still for a class, so I was looking in his history book. Maybe 2 mentions of any great black people in it. Your not calling this biased? It also was nicer about the Confederacy then my own history book was. Again, this is not biased? It's pretty simple to see, that depending where you are, depends what is taught to you. Like in some states where you can not learn about evolution, that knocks a bias right into their books. Yes, these are just small examples, but they are examples of it all.

I did not blame bush. Only meant he supports outsourcing and even signed a bill dealing with it. So he has caused companies to want to outsource more and more. If you really think outsourcing is a great idea, wait until your job is threatened by it, or someone in your family loses their job to it. It only helps the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. Nowhere does it help the middle people who would normally work those jobs they are sending over seas. Not really anti-american here, but I think the US deserved 9/11. It was a wake up call, and made people realize that we aren't safe from everything. Were not in some little bubble where were safe from everything, and everyone is afraid to do anything to us. But it did not mean we needed to suddenly go over board and go out to eliminate it all. How did bush know Iraq had the WMDs? He had the reciepts. The US provided Iraq and Iran with all their WMDs and most their armored vehicles. We put Suddam in power. We put Osama in power. It backfired, we -*BAD WORD*-ed up, so now we gotta clean up our mess, only to probably make an even bigger one. If we had just left all of it alone over there, we'd have been fine. The US can't be a country and be the world police at the same time. We either need to focus on our problems in our borders, or the ones outside.

Hmm, the company my dad worked for is not on the list. They sent all their work to Taiwan because rather then paying my dad $12/hr, they could pay people 15 cents and hr. He actually even had to train his replacement for over there. Think about how that must have felt, especially for all those other people in the list of companies. And Syrus - Outsourced means the company went over seas, not failed. Thanks to bush, they sent most of their work over seas to cheaper countries where they could gain more profit (like those CEO's really need more money) by paying workers less. Yes, I'll agree it helps the people over there, but it's not worth costing our own people their jobs.

1. Bush is pushing the limit on seperation of church and state. That right there makes me not vote for him. 2. Gays and Lesbians are fine by me. They are normal people who just think differently about sex. Marriage is the union of 2 people. Man and Woman, Woman and Woman, Man and Man, all are people, and they're uniting. (union might be the wrong word, but yea). 3. Bush is trying to push Democracy on other countries. Who said a Democratic Government is best? We have yet to see one last a mellinium, unlike Kings and Dictators. For all we know, a democracy could be flawed and cause more problems then it's worth. I'm not against it, just stating the fact that other countries can run and live happily without Democracy. Cuban people for the most part are happy. Yes, the ones jobless and poor are not, but neither are unemployed/poor americans. 4. Kerry has already began going against the things he has said. He seems to have forgotten he isn't president yet. Really, I could go on for a while. I had to debate this in class once, and heard some really good info I can't think of at the moment, but was a great debate, especially since I wasn't even in college or that class but I got into it all.

Was the beheading staged by the CIA?
PoLiX replied to Fluffy White Bunny's topic in General Discussion
if any of you have watched a beheading video before, you'd know it's rather messy and lots of blood comes out. I'll find it again if I have to. Was of a russian soldier. No there wasn't a 10 ft squirting guiser of blood. But you do see some blood shooting slightly up and all. like a very small gush of it. I'm not saying the Nick Berg one wasn't real, but the blood thing makes me still kind of question it. -
seeing as i have no part in SSI anymore, and its not the biller i coded personally for my own use (which still has bugs i've never sat down to fix to make it giveable to anyone), i could care less really, lol.
