omgosh. Someone should make a Spore zone using Hyperspace's core modules.

Man, Spore is addicting once you reach the Space stage. The Space stage should take you a great deal of time to fully complete (controlling the entire galaxy) if you go at it for around 3 hours a day, and the replay value is high, so there's almost no end to this.

So have any of you gotten bored with your bland console -- be it PS2, Xbox, PC, or anything playable -- and decided to make a DIY project out of it? Personally, I've dished out only $40 into my PS2 to have it load games from my old 60GB Seagate hard drive using HDLoader. I currently have around 30 games on it and am deciding to get back to fully modding it (case, LEDS, whatever floats my boat). I know most of you play console games, but have any of you customised your system for either looks or performance?

And perhaps a feature for logging in with at least our Facebook account if linking our forum account with our Facebook account is possible? I'm just getting scanty ideas from the IPS forum, really.

Yes I am, but the place where I live has an ADSL router (which isn't much of a router in terms of sharing), so I hooked up my Linksys that I brought with me from the US so I can share this wonderful 440KB/s speed with my cousin. I had a problem with the Linksys working as an invisible bridge, but dd-wrt had some extra settings to remedy that. Oh snap. Didn't think to look for third-party firmware for my router. This is working pretty well on my WRT54G and is quite useful.

Windowblinds for start menu and explorer icons, Rainmeter for what you see on the desktop (meters, RSS, etc), Rocketdock for the dock, and Socwall for wallpaper. I only have 1GB RAM with a 1.8GHZ dual core CPU, but it runs very smoothly on XP. A few others are lining up to rival Facebook, too, but I doubt any of them will be successful. All Facebook needs to do is change the privacy settings a little to be on par again.
