Weed only helped me, but I guess we're just in different situations.

This point works very well for some people. And I agree with Samapico -- having friends that study a lot really does help since it adds more motivation onto you. But if you don't have those type of friends then you should start prioritizing and cutting down on distracting hobbies. Doing this in high school will greatly help you with your studying habits in university and beyond.
