Just wanted to get you guys to listen to my friend's new band called Paper Tongues. Their music is very unique, mixing rock with different other melodies like hip hop, soul, funk, and electronica. There are a few songs you can check out on their MySpace, but the songs on their album are all of different styles, so it's hard to simply categorize them in 1 genre. Not to mention they are getting pretty famous with their manager Randy Jackson (the judge in American Idol). Post here if you like it or not.

Not sure about "overkill", as I can't enter any zones. My ping is about 380ms to each SSC zone with some latency. Oh, forgot to mention I'm living in Sri Lanka. If you want the equivalent speed of 56Kbps connecting from here to the closest SSC server, it's probably around 8Kbps (guesstimation).

Why the heck would they do that? Besides easier calculations and shorthands.

Well, that's the advertised speed. It actually runs at about 56 Kbps after 2 weeks into the billing cycle. They call that their "Fair User Policy".

Ah, I'm using 3G mobile broadband on my PC as well, but it's terrible at around 384 Kbps.

Exactly what I've been saying since Syrus started SSRadio! The public doesn't want nor listens to radio anymore since there are so many better alternatives out there these days. This idea would have worked before the iTunes and Pandora days. I myself ran a somewhat successful radio for Halo around 2004, complete with music, zone updates, squad announcements, and staff announcements. People actually dropped their MP3 playlist to listen to something different and relevant. Not to mention we all had similar music tastes. It was fun back then, but not now. For this and other obvious reasons, no one should waste their time on SSRadio anymore.

Sorry to tell you this, but you probably won't get help. Try finding some files in http://ssdownloads.com/ that closely fit your requests. Unless someone can prove me wrong, SSDev is pretty much obsolete now and the only way you will get something you need is if you do it yourself. In any case, it's always useful to learn something in order to do things by yourself.

So, I decided to Google "why america sucks" and I come across this domain... http://www.whyamericasucks.com/ Not sure if this is old news since the domain was renewed last year. Funny how they completely framed in Fox News' site with the description "Where America learns what sucks".
