You could make them eLVL files and store the data in an eLVL chunk, although I'm not a fan of storing anything extra in the lvl file (even regions are proccessed entirely server side for now, so I don't see why the client needs to download this data). Adding eLVL support would have the plus side of letting people use DCME to make ASSS regions.

In the most recent version of CLT (off sourceforge), the autotile is just a tile like any other and can this be used with any tool. Also you can create a wall first, then specify the tiles for the walltiles, and apply it to a selection (it will place the appropriate tiles where they belong). Not only this but there's support for an infinite amount of different walls (in case your tileset has more than one) which are saved along with the map (so when you open it they're still there). Also, opening a new map will cause CLT to attempt to read wall tiles off the map and import them automatically with reasonable accuracy (so you don't have to do anything to start using the walltiles). That being said, I've downloaded DCME recently and it runs well. Keep up the good work.

I belive pr3 has a bug with the powerballs, not sure about the details, seek out nickisis

Brighter, do you know how to code?
-
every command can be customized for both global and per-arena permissions in ASSS servers, and you could even make a ?putlvl command if you needed one
-
you could also try to open it in CLT or just open it in paint if all you need is the tileset (or import the tileset through CLT). Or post the lvl here and one of us could figure it out.

Yeah my roommate and I were talking about this point before. It is strange that squirrels and bacteria are just as adapted to survive as we are. I mean they've survived thousands of generations just like use. Maybe it's better to not be intelligent, since it seems like humans are the only species with large scale wars and the capability to destroy every other human alive (h-bombs), a recipe for extinction. ------------- As for ID, it seems like the strongest evidence that it has going for it are that evolution doesn't explain some things very well. However, this is just evidence that evolution is not a complete theory (or we are missing some evidence). How you make the jump from this to saying that it must have been an intelligent agent is beyond me. Imagine if our ansestors did the same with things they lacked explanations for. They would have thought that the sun rising or lightning during a storm were acts of gods (oh wait, they did)! Lack of explanation is not evidence for the existance of an intelligent agent. On the other hand, I do see what you're saying with the dice example. If you come across a cubic iron planet with buildings and cars on it, it seems very likely that it was designed by someone. One theory of the origin of the planet would be that it was designed. However, whether it's a scientific theory depends on other factors, such as whether you can test this theory with experiments (required for it to be called science). This is indeed the reason the U.S. National Academy of Sciences rejected ID as a scientific theory. Teach ID in schools if you want, but not as science.

Is there such as thing as 32-bit bitmaps? I was under the impression bitmaps couldn't contain an alpha layer.

while we're working on it, the bi-weekly releases will go up at http://sourceforge.net/projects/continuumlt

unless you meant on subspacedownloads.com, which I don't have any idea when that one will get updated. Always get your version off of the official website, http://www.rshl.org/!@#$%^&*/.

sounds good once the zone gets over 10 people at a time. What's the plan for when there's only two or three people in the game? -
same old argument, same old responce:
-
why did ABC chose this fund (sources, not speculation please)?
-
the Bush-Clinton Katrina Relief fund is by the old president Bush (George H.). They had a big speech about it and it was on TV. Encoraging people to donate to this fund (which, by the way, gives what it receives to other charities like the Red Cross or Salvation Army), is by no means right-wing politics. Asking for donations for a nateral disaster isn't "talking politics". Please get your facts straight before using them to defend your argument.

So how would you involve Iraq in the muslim world? Iraq was the only country in the middle east without a theocratic government. If we want to give the muslim world a good example of a properly functioning democracy, how about we invade a muslim-run country next time? As for hackysack's responce to my change-of-mind at!@#$%^&*ude: #1 Responce: In the 1960's many business owners had OWNERSHIP of their OWN business, which didn't allow black people to enter and use their services. It was only THEIR money that went to the business. Even free services (parallelling to the free server) like water fountains were limited by race. If the government didn't force integration, segragation would still be around today. So although you may own something entirely, when you're providing a public service (such as a public server), you may be controlled by the government. #2 Responce: Using one injustice to justify another is not a valid argument. For example, imagine we were in nazi germany, shortly after Jews were forbidden from serving in the armed forces. Someone might want to ban Jews from holding high-education jobs like doctors or professors. Now someone brings up that we shouldn't impede on the rights of the Jews, but the counterargument is that we have already done so in the past, so clearly we can invade in the rights of the Jews. It's similar to the old saying, "Two wrongs don't make a right." although your other two examples serve your purpose, the "threatening to kill the president" example does not. The reason you go to jail is because you're instilling fear in the person you're threatening, impeding on their right to "the pursuit of happiness". There is a problem with parallelling lack of free speech in MG to segragation in the 1960's, you just didn't point it out. ---------- spin does have some good points, but many others are completely wrong, which makes his whole argument look poor. These ad hominem arguments don't help your points either. For example when Aile says something like You could just point out that it's easier to look back and simply say they are evil people, without suppling more information. The terrorists believe that america is evil. Calling something evil doesn't really say anything. That would go a lot further than !@#$%^&*ociating Rush with Aile, since he never mentioned anything about rush, or that he was conservative, for that matter.

Good news guys. I'm taking a class in software design and do!@#$%^&*entation and I've managed to convince my group to work on CLLT (Continuum Level / Lvz Tool, shh don't tell) for our semester long project. So that means tons of new features for us! If there's anything you want, now's the time to request it. Here's what I got so far: Ellipse / Ellipse Fill Tool Better Retile interface Layers Fill Tool Region Fill Tool Allow Lvz and Regions to be selected and copy / pasted Autodetection of "walls" for the EZ Tile Tool JPGs remain as JPGs (instead of being converted to PNGs) Low Memory mode for lvz like gravbomber Completely customizable hot keys Mutliple "walls" defined by the EZ Tile Tool Export as plain .lvl option Autotile background option Possibly encorporate screenobjects / file overrides Better image manipulation system (use external editors like photoshop). ----------------------- Thanks, shadow. The mouse wheel issue is one with Java, so unfortunatly I don't think that will get done. Your safe zone animation could be done more easily once I encorporate lvz into being a selection (so you can create 4, copy, paste, now you have 8, copy paste, 16... 32...).

leooelol ok spin, you've convinced me your ban in MG is unjust and due to facism and the government should interfere in how TestTube runs his server, similar to how the government interfered in private businesses that practiced segragation. After all, free speech is a God given right which nobody has the right to revoke.

By your definition, we are currently in a "war on terror", so bin laden is no longer labeled a terrorist. Murderers would also be classified as terrorists. If you take out the peacetime requirement, Truman would be a terrorist.. But I see what you mean: a terrorist should not be considered a world leader unless he holds political office. Although bin laden is a business leader so maybe we need to respect him(according to the rules): "Bin Laden also invested in business ventures, such as al-Hajira, a construction company that built roads throughout Sudan, and Wadi al-Aqiq, an agricultural corporation that farmed hundreds of thousands of acres of sorghum, gum arabic, sesame and sunflowers in Sudan's central Gezira province." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osama_bin_laden).

Well, sometimes you can't avoid them, sometimes the people vote for them, sometimes they own a server.Sometimes they provide you with a free service. If you want freedom of speech, or any freedom at all, go play infantry for $10 a month. A lot of people supporting TestTube sure like to "wave flags" in their comments.... but quickly throw out half-baked corporate-legal type of reasons for the actions. What the !@#$%^&* are you talking about, newbie? the people in fascist regimes are persuaded that human rights can be ignored in certain cases because of "need." TestTubes "no political or religious chat rule"How does he "need" that rule? He controls the server and has absolute power over it. You're political comments aren't going to disconnect his ISP. Make sense next time. 3 Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause My political talk, while true, seems to be in the minorityNo one is rallying around to get you banned. They're rallying around you shutting the !@#$%^&* up. And there's nothing wrong with being called a liberal, why you mention it is beyond me, extremist. 4 Supremacy of the Military Not much to say here, after all Metal Gear is only about people shooting one another.Point? Stop stretching everything you can find to make it fit your 14 piece puzzle. Sure a lot of people callen other people "gay" as a insult in Metal Gear. You're a !@#$%^&*. Shut up before I ban you from the internet. 6 Controlled M!@#$%^&* Media Well I was censored for my pol ital talk in Metal Gear. You should also note my post in the forums was locked in 2 of the 3 places I posted! You were banned for being an annoying !@#$%^&*, not for you extremist political talk. 7 Obsession with National Security "Anyways stfu or i'll internet-ban you for a year."-BakSTFU or I'll e-ban you forever 8 Religion and Government are Intertwined they ban any talk of it!Let's contradict outselves more. TestTube owns Metal Gear, no one can hold TestTube accountable.Exactly. What you want is the governments regulations being applied to a private server. That's an impediment on HIS rights. TestTube treats the players like workers to Metal Gear, with TestTube being the owner.WHAT THE !@#$%^&* ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? 11 Disdain for Intellectuals and the Arts Heck, some even call it spam!WHAT THE !@#$%^&* ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? When it comes down to it, everyone in the SSC network is subject TestTube's unjust punishments. As it stands now, one guy with a server can overrule the others with no recourse. No, because if testtube started netbanning lots of people unjustly, he would lose his ability to netban and the players would be unbanned. Also, SSC is hardly the only biller and I'm sure there are several billing servers that would love to steal some SSC zones if they didn't like that half their population was banned by TT. Hackysack goes along with my banning as a way to buck for a promotionWHAT THE !@#$%^&* ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Elections in Sub Space? !@#$%^&* no, there are not even rights, rules or community ---only the owners! We call those the zero population zones. The players control which servers they play in, a server without players is a dead server. Hence, if you want the right to be annoying, or want a zone that follows it's rulesword for word, go play in a zone that does that. That's the only the power you have. I know what TestTubes objective is by my one year ban, he wants me to admit to him I broke a rule. No, he wants you gone for a year. You're trying to limit testtube's rights when he buys and pays for a server that you can use. He hasn't singled you out for race, sex, or any reason other than being annoying, which is something you could have changed in the FOUR MONTHS of warnings you were given. I think there's a limit on the number of quote boxes I can use. Anyways I hate ripping post up like this, but you're just being a moron.
