  1. The duel boxes is pretty much the only thing different... Settings had not changed either as far as I know
  2. It is
  3. compatibility part? weird... anyone know how to do that? Could be a nice FAQ... Also, can the same issue cause problems with other things in Continuum?
  4. We had a link to that one in the FAQ... Never had a confirmation that it actually worked in some cases; i'll expand it, thanks
  5. If you are tired of finding a copy of DebuildLevel.exe, copying it, then typing the name of your lvz file, here's a quick registry fix for you: Download the attached file, open it with notepad and you should see the following: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.LVZ] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.LVZ\shell] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.LVZ\shell\Debuild LVZ] [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.LVZ\shell\Debuild LVZ\command] @="\"D:\\Jeux\\Continuum Dev\\Programs\\DeBuildLevel.exe\" \"%1\"" Change D:\\Jeux\\Continuum Dev\\Programs\\DeBuildLevel.exe\ to wherever your debuildlevel.exe is; pay attention to the " and \, don't change any, and the folder separators must be double If you want to remove this, you simply have to start the registry editor (run -> regedit) In the tree, go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, find the .lvz key, and delete the shell key This works for XP, should work for vista too Note that you can rename this action whatever you want... In this case, when I right-click a LVZ file, it shows 'Debuild LVZ' as the default action; you can change that if you want. DebuildLVZ.reg
  6. I think I'm gonna put that old map back with the old settings for now...
  7. there lvl included for reference 17thmainmap_bkp.lvl
  8. I would just love to see the face of the people hosting the LAN when that guy comes in with his barbecue... "Hey, you! You can't bring a barbecue in here, wtf?"
  9. Fixed Until the patch release, if you simply move your mouse again it will fix itself... But you're right, the first time it updates just after the map is dragged to one side, it doesn't update the first corner correctly.
  10. Hmmm... Does this happen with any lvl file, or just the particular one you open? Maybe try attaching your lvl file here, if it causes issues. Also include your 'dcme.log' file, created in the DCME folder. Do you use any tools in particular?
  11. I usually use #3 to qualify something very funny

    C++

Some people think of it the other way around... start by knowing how things work, then move on to things that handle stuff automatically, but you'll know how to use them efficiently. But seeing as you have no programming background at all, starting with visual basic 6 might be a good idea

there are tutorials on the site As for what to use, I'm sure wikipedia can help you somehow; check for c++ compilers like Dev-C++, or MS Visual Studio
  15. Yeah... check Start -> programs -> accessories
  16. he got it on zshare, don't have the specific links with me... I suggest you use private messages to share these kind of links
  17. We normally do I think... or we used to... Cause I do remember seeing him paint on TV. But my dad has some h4x0red satellite thing and at the moment he only gets Dish, an american network. It has its good sides (some channels I never could watch before with good stuff like G4, free pr0n channels, ...) and its bad sides (it's so hard to find the damn channel where the Canadiens play ) Canada's junior team won against USA, yay! (They beat Kazakhstan 15-0 2 days ago lol)
  18. What a coincidence... shorly after my post, I stumbled on 'Best of Joy of Painting' on TV...
  19. Seriously... I searched for 10 minutes and couldn't find a single video of HIM painting... I found like 200 tributes and parodies, but no original... I remember seeing him on TV. I'm not expert but apparently his style was pretty unique.
  20. He feels the same
  21. I don't want to generate diagonal walls until the walltiles can actually support them... I have something in mind that could improve the walltiles system a lot... perhaps it will appear sometime in 2009 A 'find edges' function for the selection could work I guess
  22. Thanks
