  1. I'm thinking this feature is kind of obsolete now with the full map radar view, since you can just click where you want to go... I normally never 'remove' features, but this time it's about re-adding it or not, since I'm rebuilding the whole menus and toolbars. I mean, the feature could be useful, for example if you take Hyperspace, you could bookmark each sector, and hit '1' to go to sector 1, and so on. But would anyone find this useful? It seems simpler to click on the radar map. Getting rid of them would also make the menus less cluttered. Opinions away!
  2. Programmer failure. vs Player: dello Kills: 1 (0.07% of all kills) Cash: $182 ($182 apk)
  3. They already are decimals; they just happen to come out evenly (or Java is doing some casting without my permission, but whatever). vs Player: suicide_run Allied Kills: 10 Shared Cash: $268 ($26 apk) ok, 268/10 = 26.0, I agree
  4. what the f? Why does it crash?
  5. Also, the "completed"/shell'ed parasites are not listed... Unless this data was not updated before or something. Edit: it's kills remaining... nevermind. Crap, my parasites are much further from evolution than I thought
  6. Rico007 1000 4 wut??? Does it take like... 1001 kills?
  7. Everyone is wrong, except Lynx, pretty much. Also, make sure: [Validation] CheckMod=1 CheckSMod=1 CheckSysop=1 This makes it so you can remove the mod password if you want. These validation values make it so someone entering the password, without being on the .txt list (moderate.txt, smod.txt or sysop.txt) won't get any powers. Also, use ArenaMode = 5 This means any new subarena (i.e. ?go somerandommaplol234) will not create a new .cfg set, it will use spawn.cfg. And you just have to create somerandommaplol234.cfg if you want specific settings in it.
  8. team 1 fail
  9. It's the same thing
  10. Average per kill numbers, give them decimals
  11. Because both forums only had like 1 active topic, and these kinds of things can very well be discussed here
  12. I guess 5 is a bit nazi indeed, considering how it calculates it. Try now.
  13. Make the apk's floats
  14. Maybe, but not soon
  15. Both teams playing for 15 minutes Team A invades FR and get all flags Team B counter attacks Team A uses 50 fields to clear Team B Team B ragequits Team A has had all flags for at least a minute already... 2 minutes until they drop all, about 1 more minute after all-dropped to win There you go. Both kills and time went up all this time, except after the ragequit, and during the win, which takes ~3-4 minutes
  16. The only energy drain they 'could' add to item use would be an energy depleted green... Other than that the server doesn't have much control over your energy.
  17. Ok, so they'll have like 3 minutes worth of jackpot more, big deal. If it's based on kills, it's not like the jackpot drops because the other team quits. Anyway, not gonna happen
  18. Graphics (lvz) are already compressed (zlib) lvl files aren't though. Continuum's file transfer system sucks balls.
  19. You do know about the transparent mode, right?
  20. Do you need to recycle or something after changing dir servers? 17th still doesn't show up on the list... fixed the dir servers yesterday. Is it possible that the server's firewall block it? All directory servers run on the same port, right?
  21. People without FTL drives would be way too disadvantaged by this... b8 is a looong way. Some ships can only carry jump engines too, that would suck for them.
  22. Same argument applies... people will just wait for a big jackpot. Also, people will wake up in the middle of the night to come and win a big jackpot when no one's in pub Based on kills or time, it's the same... Number of kills is pretty much proportional to the time elapsed... duh.
  23. The jackpot system was removed because it made people not want to flag for 90% of the time, while JP is raising. And even then, winning a JP made people complain because some of them apparently never want to win, just raise JP.
  24. Though it adds this... logistics strategy to it, and you can break enemy's logistics supplies. But yeah, I wouldn't want to be the lanc sitting there
  25. Is there a limit to the length of the [Directory]IP field? We have this: IP=sscentral.sscuservers.net,warpath.bluetoast.org,warpath.hlrse.net,sharvil.nanavati.net,auto.subdir.net,auto.subdir.org,sscentral.trenchwars.org,ssdir.playsubspace.com And *g*Directory:ip returns: directory:ip:sscentral.sscuservers.net,warpath.bluetoast.org,warpath.hlrse.n ...Also, 17th doesn't show up on the ssdir.playsubspace.com list
