  1. Does that include Comdlg32.ocx? If so, you will need to log on as an administrator or the component cannot register correctly.
  2. I don't think zipping it is very hard Plus it reduces download size Nice work
  3. For the first error, your desktop is probably set on 16bit color... Set it to 32bits; should fix the problem. For the Bad file name or number error, I think we fixed it, but the next version probably won't be released before a while cause some stuff is being completly revamped. Do you get the error only for that map? If the error doesn't stop you from working on it, don't bother with it for now. You could try deleting the 'DCME autosaves' folder located in the same folder as DCME.exe (Do that while DCME is not running)

  5. Your sig and avatar are fixed now it seems, though
  6. i think its a line plot that plots each one in order and the left and bottom are other variables more of a z= ax + by No, it's just complete !@#$%^&*. There isn't even any scale or !@#$%^&*le
  7. From Private Discussion forum, topic "2Moons Banned" Aileron posted:
  8. I think I (or someone else) should write a small app to handle screenshots... I'd want it to pop up a dialog with Save... Edit... Cancel when you hit the specified shortcut (shift+printscr or something) and it would save as PNG shift+alt+printscr would grab the active window shift+ctrl+printscr would let you select an area There are tons of OMGEZSNAPSHOTSSS programs out there, but they all suck as far as I know
  9. merged with attraction's other topic about the same thing... and closed, issue resolved
  10. I think 1.4.4 works with 24bit tilesets (i.e. most maps made with DCME)
  11. Unless you're dead. And that mutated foetus was most likely dead.
  12. I also doubt refresh rate could be the cause... Refresh rate could cause a low frame rate or something, but not much else. Available refresh rates mostly depend of your screen. Most cards can output anything frmo 50 to 75 Hz, but usually it's the screen that doesn't support these modes
  13. Split from Continuum .40 issues, and closed. Note new FAQ topic for this issue, thanks rootbear
  14. < Graphics-related issue split here since it's not a .40-specific issue, and to avoid useless stuff and screenshots in this thread >

  18. Well, when I used FF, i had as many popups as on IE. But I always used strict cookies (aka 'ask for every cookie') so that's why I'm probably getting 10x less popups than most people. So it doesnt depend on the browser, it just depends how you use it. (Though I totally agree that FF > IE6, only for the tabbed browsing )
  19. ^^ Well, last time we got invaded, we just drank beer with the invaders... But yeah, I mostly agree and I hit some weird key combination or something... the font I'm seeing right now is VERY ugly :S inconsistent spacing and stuff... weird...
  20. packetloss can do this i guess

  22. Which county would invade Canada anyway? They'd have to cross an entire ocean to reach us, not very effective for an invasion.
  23. Yeah I'm doing alot of things other than work on DCME too
