It should come up as "Application Hang" if you can make the error log thing pop up. Try closing it with the Applications tab on the Task Manager. It should bring up that box to send the error to Microsoft and it will make an event in the Event Viewer. -

Does the Event Viewer give you any further information as to why it's crashing? -
Some keyboards just do that. Buy a Dell keyboard. It's the only keyboard I've personally come across that doesn't do that.

Gonna go for the obvious here. Have you tried: Reinstalling? Closing everything before you run Continuum? Makes me wonder, because it doesn't do it in safe mode. Does the CPU usage of Continuum.exe shoot up drastically when it hangs? Do you have some sort of control panel for your video card? You could try tweaking around with some settings in that. -
