Ok, this is an update from my previous topic about my router problem. Read about it HERE. Ok, now... If I enable wireless, the entire network lags, whether anyone connects to it or not. I've checked to see if maybe my neighbors were stealing it or something.. and no one is. So, I decided to borrow a router from my buddy just to see if I encounter the same problem and sure enough, I do. Am I blind or is this an obvious interference problem? The only 2.4GHz machine in my house, other than my router, is my cordless phone. However, it's not even plugged in or being used.. It's just sitting about a foot away from the router. If this is an obvious interference problem, what kinds of things can cause interference? The only other thing I can think of is maybe a short in the plug. I thought (maybe) that the outlet may have problems, therefore not sending enough power to the router? That's just a theory, call me an idiot. Someone please help! I'm desperate!
