No one's complaining about an update. What we have is one group saying "You should be grateful that anything was done", another group saying "These updates aren't exciting", Chambahs saying "This !@#$%^&* is cheat proof, yo" and the general population saying "Great, another download for nothing." It's not that anyone's ungrateful, it's that most of us don't care about this update. Considering someone in the community has the source to the game and the only things we can get done with it is an anti-cheat update every 3 years -- why should we care? Cheating in this game has basically been reduced to memory scanning/editing anyway. And since there are several ways to byp!@#$%^&* it already (even with the new updates), it's only a matter of time before the script kiddies using CE figure out how to do it. Then what? We're right back to square one, waiting for the holy one to bless us with another "zomg no more cheetz" update. The general population doesn't cheat. The general population doesn't even deal with cheaters. The general population wants new features and new stuff to play with. Instead, they get a 3-5mb download so cheating can be stopped for a few weeks. Why should we all get excited about that again? So far, Hakaku has the best post in this thread:
