They should make an allow button, disallow, or quarantine button or something with a check box that says always so users can actually use the computer. Windows is having to keep people from hurting themselves. It's like giving a knife to a kid to let him cut an apple and eat it, but he doesn't know how to use it even though he thinks he does, and he cuts himself. That's a true story btw.

It isn't WINE friendly.

os dependencie and creating .iso and dual boot
BDwinsAlt replied to tcsoccerman's topic in Technical Support
As long as you have at least 20 GB for each OS, you should be fine. I would recommend more for Vista though. Maybe 40 GB for Vista and 20 GB for Linux. Most computers come with at least 60 GB now. As far as your current XP thing goes, you can always transfer your import files. Maybe you could ghost your hard drive and move the winxp stuff over. When you compile something on linux, it won't be an exe file. I would recommend using something like vmware or maybe just find a program that allows you to compile for windows on linux. http://www.ecn.wfu.edu/~cottrell/cross-gtk/ [some kind of cross compiler] .NET is kinda weird on linux. You can use mono, but it doesn't always work. Most simple applications work with Wine. WARNING: ALWAYS INSTALL WINDOWS BEFORE LINUX. If you install Windows after you install Linux, it will make Linux not work because for some reason windows wants to corrupt the par!@#$%^&*ions it isn't using. (Shady) -
Discretion compiles and runs on linux/mac!

Something like naap for ASSS would be nice for subgame.

THEN HOW THE !@#$%^&* CANT WE WIN AGAINST IRAQ ALREADY?! Because you can't defeat an invisible/non-existent enemy. If there are people fighting the troops, then it's because they want their country back. They aren't trying to kill us in the U.S.A. If someone took over the U.S., wouldn't you fight to get it back?

My friend had satellite, and I was at his house. There were tornadoes, but we didn't know because the satellite wouldn't get a signal. They did have a radio, though. Cable does best when you need it. It's underground for the most part.

The Bible says that only God knows the exact date and not even the Son knows the day of rapture. I do know that 1/3 of everything will die. I don't think the world will end on 2012, but that may be the beginning. The anti-christ will rule for 7 years so more like 2019. Isn't an asteroid suppose to hit us in 2019? To an athiest, it doesn't matter because there is nothing after life. To a Christian, it matters because you could be facing a higher judgment. Most of the people who think they are christians won't be in heaven. The bible says unless you create a relationship and talk to jesus, he will say he never knew you. It says you can cast out demons in his name, but unless you are close and you talk to him, he won't accept you. Oh yea, I'm sure between now and 2038 they will fix the unix time thing.

I've always hated Hilary, but after the Bush Administration executed operation "9/11," I have to vote democrat. I don't really like Obama. Out economy was better when Clinton was in office. We weren't at war, there wasn't a constant terrorism scare, and gas was less than a dollar a gallon. I hate seeing the profit reports for oil companies. How can they have record profits in 1/4 the usual time. Obama is inpirational, but I don't think he has what it takes to change anything, and I don't think we need to play dominate the middle east with Iraq and any other country. Google North American Union sometime. Scare the people into submission and you can make drastic changes by making them think they are safe. They can already tap our phones. Remember V for Vendetta? It'll be like that pretty soon. Then the European Union, North American Union, and the other 2 developing right now, will merge as one government. Warning: Controversy starts here. That's where the Bible talks about the end of time. more on topic: McCain lost his balls in Vietnam. Hilary is more of a man than he will ever be. Ron Paul would have owned. He was going to use gold and silver as the currency. That way it couldn't lose its value. He wanted out of Iraq. The Media censored him imo.

So if this uses mono, then it won't be native to Linux? I know there is a mono thing for Linux, but I got error messages when I tried to run the graphics test. Do you know of an easy way to run it on Linux? Oh Yea, is there any way I can help this project. I've never tried to use C# before, but I want to help in some way. I don't play continuum that much, but I would definitely play more if these things happened. Maybe I could help beta on the Linux side.

1. Sound notifying pms, connecting/disconnect sounds. 2. Maybe chatnet protocol so you can enter ASSS zones. (chatnet is easy and its tcp) The protocol is do!@#$%^&*ented.

I didn't even see the super link at first. I might take it later. I don't feel like answering a bunch of questions right now. -

You could have many developers patch holes that the community finds and reports. Or patch it youself. I guess you guys have to rely on Microsoft and Mac guys to finally release your updates.

Each country should have their defense in it's own country only. It isn't everyone else's responsibility to keep the U.S.A. safe. We need our own defense in our own country. Someone needs to reform the government. This is just re!@#$%^&*ed now. -becomes the next dictator [a productive one]-

I never use MySpace or FaceBook. I have accounts but that was just to view a friend page cause they wanted me to see it. How does it get additive? Use your own site you made with notepad (or gedit for Linux users) and buy your own domain. I don't think they should offer it becuase then everyone at school says they have their own website and they think they have a domain. .info domains were only .99 on godaddy.com not long ago.

Sever need to stfu cause his grammar sucks. You always capitalized I when it stands alone. Wow, what a !@#$%^&* up. You try to correct me, but you end up getting corrected.

The ocean emits 90 Billion tonnes of C02, plants emits 90 billion tonnes of c02, and humans emit 6 billion tones. We aren't that significant to our environment. Where is caveman today? I don't see any half man/half monkeys running around anywhere. Where is the missing link? It's awfully convent that we can't reproduce a lot of these theories. It takes "millions of years" What's stopping anyone from speeding it up or finally admitting they were wrong. Science exists today to try to disprove all religion. Do you really want to think of yourself as evolved bacterial soup?

Then why do most sciencetist believe the world is less than 1 million yeas old?
