  1. Fixed. Use " " around player names. Let me know how it works.
  2. New Idea: If you remain playing in the zone from when the flag game is won to 20 minutes after the flag game, you win 20 million credits. This only counts for flag games over 5 million and with at least 4 people playing. If you spec or leave you don;t get it. If you come back, you don't get it.
  3. AFTER a jackpot is won. If you leave or spec within 10 minutes AFTER a jackpot is won ... then you get taxed.
  4. I have another idea ... this goes to my tax idea. Any player that specs or leaves zone within 10 minutes of a flag victory gets taxed 25% on their credits. The only problem with that is that would probably incldue if they went to a subarena ... hmmmm
  5. I'll sit in my zone SSCI Devastation all day since I get the day off since i'm working the the USofA but am truely Canadian, so this long weekend will be quite nice. Also going to experience this so called 'black friday' bonanza ... apparently similar to boxing day in Canada.
  6. This is easily done w/ settings. Put 1 flag in arena, that person that finds the flag gets to be jugger ... and with the flag you get an unlimited bomb firing rate, unlimited bullets.
  7. We need to think of some options to prevent people from speccing/leaving after a big flag game: 1. Offer 30 million credits if jp can get over 10 million in 10 minutes 2. Offer incentives for smaller 15-20 mil games (2x credits or something), that way people won't be tired because one very large game finished 3. Offer incentives for top 3 in points after scorereset (top 3 non-staff members get bonus credits) 4. Cap max jp size to 50mil. Any other ideas? We already have a 2x increase ... but that doesn't seem to work.

  9. They are team-oriented buys. They hurt you, but thave the potential of helping your team advance. Now they may hurt your team more then they hurt your enemy, but thats your problem, if you are beside all of your teammates then don't be fooled in thinking the enemy will get chosen over them. If I start checking for stupid things like if they are on your team and such then that will delay the time it takes for this to actually work, and by then people may have died and whatnot and the item is useless.
  10. The !buy freq # was meant to be a simple additon so you can buy into a freq. I'm not advancing it any further for the time being since there is no point. Freqs are private, so the odds of somebody you dont wan't on it guessing the freq is low. Its .howtoplay not .how to play. having spaces in a command is stupid, you should never do that and I dont know why SOS did for many things. Oh, and !buy red now still costs the same, but makes bombs red too for added fun. It makes bombs basically useless, which is a good thing to get past bomb lines and stuff, so use it wisely in those tight bases!
  11. I dont really like either idea because it keeps people in center, trying to get a streak going, or greening. The goal is to get people in bases.

  13. 5 minutes = 15 mil I think thats a reasonable price. I'm going to write my own plugins instead of using plugins at mervbot.com because I like to have the ability to customize if required.
  14. Dropping the price is a reasonable suggestion. I'll drop it to 15 mil, from the 30 mil.
  15. I'm about done the improvement to only see things you can afford in the buy list with the added option of doing !buylist to see the full list. I also made red last 10 minutes instead of 15, but I am probably going to drop it down to 5 minutes. 10 even sounds too long for me since most other buyables dont last longer then 2-3 minutes.

  17. I have no submissions for thanksgiving! Anybody? I need at least 4 bases. Or if you want to move right to christmas, post stuff!. I have the old map, but I plan to integrate the bases and stuff into the new map design.
  18. I've decided against any of these suggestions, there are better ones and I don't want to crowd the buy list.

    I'll see what I can do this week about adding that to the elim bot such that you can use it for any elim event. (I think you can put the elim bot anywhere right?) UPDATE: Done. Command should be available to moderators of the bot with commands !doorson and !doorsoff

  24. I've once again improved the map - made the goals a bit longer (thanks rasta), changed the tileset a tad (so its a bit old a bit new and more colorful) and I made the width of the center area longer so theres more room to go 1:1 (tm_master should be proud of me).
  25. If you eat us for breakfast you must really love us but who doesn't love baconators.
