  1. Doc's a nice guy and this isn't a democracy(So he keeps shouting to me ), he's also really busy, he tries too, but it just doesn't always get to pass I'm not really trying to attack him on that Keep that in mind!

Overall you're a really nice guy, but there's just a few points at which I'm at major disagreement with you: I'm not directly doing things for you, helping you involves you doing things too, and you've been really absent, just once we had an appointment set to go work at things together but you couldnt come in the end :/ Just don't want to put time in things that have a good chance of not being used at all, plus I like to have my creativity to be put to use too and you just wont let me do that, you just restrict me in what I consider my capabilities and I feel that as me being used. Also getting back on that spree module, I made it as a spontaneous act of kindness to several people asking me in the zone for it, you're saying I don't communicate with you? For one you weren't there, and for two, since you already had someone working on one, who hadn't communicated there, you could have told me >.<

That's an odd way of putting it, I simply have no need to program excactly what you want, you're not paying me Instead I have ideas of my own and like to show them off too, I'm here because I like the zone and want it to be good, always have been. Anyway, was talking about how I wouldn't simply do as he said it would have to be done and that he could get a code slave for that ^^ To which he replied by asking if he should count me out from the hs modules then Obviously I had no choice on how to answer that Ah well, learned a great deal, had fun, I'll live, plenty of other things to do anyway, plus it's not stopping me

Ah well, mine is still the better one I'll probably finish it up tonight, anyway Doc's idea of Hyperspace is becoming increasingly different of mine, and his one goes, and since I'm not a slave I don't do things to specifications, I just do them. Maybe I should go make a new HS zone But there's more time for that when the new HS goes live, for all I know I'll like it But in the meantime I'll just keep working on CF and more HS modules(Even if they won't even be looked at, they're always nice to learn from plus they might come in handy in the future)

  6. No changes needed there, flags are not neuted to hide them from teammates, they are neuted rather because you dont want to wait and because you want to pick them up later. As for publics, well, owndropping can be a problem(I for one will join a public freq just to find out where its flags are), but you should defend your flags anyway.

    Multiship formula will go trough the toilet, and 1 bounties will no longer work really well, at least not on ships that start with a high bounty because of items. This will also immediatly solve the giving away problem.

    Shark will become a playable ship, I reckon players will start out with a wb, dont know about that, but sharks will no longer be what they are now.

    No, instead we'll be keeping track on how much money someone has used, if you used up your initial money you'll be able to give everything away. As in: you start with 5k, and you cant give anything away, but when you earned 1k, you can give 1k away, or you use the 5k completely at the beginning, lifting your quota completely. I've already implemented this in the CVS, I dont think Doc can say no to this anymore, so no more calcing ^^

    It's true that ship3's bullets eat up a lot of energy' date=' but they also inflict a lot of damage. Ship3 with red bullets is slightly more powerful than yellow bullets on some other ships. Putting l3 guns on ship3 makes it deal an incredible amount of damage in a very short amount of time if all of the bullets hit. In this respect I think guns are balanced for ship3. But yeah, I agree with you in that everyone has l1 guns and that no one likes using the higher level guns, and I'll try to think of some way of making the higher level guns more practical for use. Personally, I think that newbies should start with something around $5K or $10K at most so that they can get used to the items more easily, and have some money to fall back on if they buy the wrong stuff for their ship. A potential problem would be having newbies upgrade too early, but with the amount of $5K, they would only start off with 3-5 bounty ships, which wouldn't hurt their kill money that badly (since most people who start off are oblivious to the wonders of 1 bty ships anyways and would start upgrading as soon as they have the money). If I have my way then bounty from items will no longer affect the reward formula, only bounty gained from kills will: having a high bounty yourself gives you more money for kills and killing someone with a high bounty will also result in more money. It's not very hard to implement this, I guess I can code it right into the current system without much effort.

  12. You have to keep in mind that the super/shield flood you've been seeing lately is still an after effect of charcoal(and perhaps Ed) abuse, it won't happen that often. Plus I've already modified the module in a few ways: 1) It now uses the same message system as Smong: In the config file you can set a message for a certain amount of kills, it will only display a message on that amount of kills and will no longer spam after a certain treshold. 2) I've added an option to disable multiple killing sprees, as in only the HIGHEST killing spreeing player will get broadcasted. 3) The new system will reward having a high bounty, so there really won't be much need to give rewards inside the module(At least this is what I want, Doc can still object)

I've written a killing spree module for HS, it tested fine, just doing one last check if everyone appreciates such a thing(And the end descision is obviously still Doc's, but I think he'll like it). I'm currently adding more advanced features, but the current module is in good shape so it's ready for when Doc gets back tomorrow(It's in his mail, so post some messages of how bad you want it)

  19. Just had a very good flaggame with 2 all flagging teams Really nice, except for the gnats in my room that is. Nice one everyone! (Death,jnkick(traitor of today! rrr!), hi-5, valky, funk etc. etc.)

    CHances are becoming really slim that that will be implemented, but ?alert probably will now. ?alert 5000 would give you a message as soon as you reached 5000 or more That was the whole point of you wanting to add the balance, right?

    My idea was to put item help under the default help function, ?man (Still ?help), but Doc will probably choose to add an itemhelp function. But more extensive itemhelp will be implemented.

    1) If it's shorter and it doesn't look bad I can probably convince him, though obviously people with large amounts of money will have huge messages. Perhaps it's a better idea to have a kind of ?alert option that will alert you once you've reached a certain amount of money, I can add this very easily and Doc might actually like this.I've coded something up that does excactly this, it's up to Doc now whether or not to implement it 2) The new item system will support a more extensive help, at least I'm trying to force it trough. 3) The rules, well, I explained this issue to you, but working on it. The bottomline is that they won't go in the news, but a rules only version of the help is on it's way again. 4) Well, you're not supposed to be playing soccer alone, but maybe we can add 1-2 seconds to it.
