to say do not go because you don't want to take the risk would mean that the smoker can do whatever he wants whereas the non smoker is very limited in their choice of venue. And in terms of work the non smoker is even more limited. I would hardly say this is a fair situation.

Yet stats show that where gun laws are more relaxed there is a higher amount of gun crime. Is it not fair to protect that 99.999% from that 0.001% by preventing people from owning guns? Afterall one big argument is "they have a gun so I also need a gun". Take guns away and the need for them is also reduced.

True banning guns will not get rid of them. What it will do is mean most people will not have a gun. Do you think these depression-fuelled shootings would still happen of there isn't a gun readily available to these people? Almost all cases of these m!@#$%^&* shootings sound like an impulse act, if the gun isn't there in the drawer it is unlikely these people will seek a gun on the black market to do it. In the cases where people are going to seek a gun they will be more visible to the authorities as their act of seeking the gun is illegal and may be picked up before they get a chance to murder.

With all these incodents in america one has to wonder how the US gun laws are justified. Things like this do not happen where the ownership of a gun is tightly regulated.

A few extremists out there spread their destroy the west message. It gets into the media and people believe all Muslims are terrorists. I'm sure we all know that this simply isn't true, in fact its very far from the truth BUT people out there do believe this because of the media's one-sided coverage. The same effect occurs for these Christian groups. The media reports the !@#$%^&* out of it, people react by labelling all Christians as having that opinion and the whole thing is blown way out of proportion.

The problem is that ultra-conservative Christians wish to purge all anti-religious thinking from the face of the earth. I would put money on there people being the same ones as those trying to ban the teaching of evolution in schools. These people are a very loud minority. The majority of people have no problem with this but few of this group speak out. This leads to the minority getting their opinion out there but few people actually bothering to listen to them.

I agree with the ban and this is why. I go to a pub as a non smoker. I do not smoke because i do not want to suffer its negative effects. In the pub there are many smokers. I have two choices. A: Go to the pub and suffer some negative effects of smoking from smoke in the air B: Be socially excluded to avoid these effects. On the other hand a smoker is not excluded because they cannot smoke, they do not HAVE to smoke and if neccacary can go to an area where non-smokers are not affected. A ban therefore meand that all can go to said pub and suffer no ill effects that they do not willingly wish to expose themselves to. A counter is often "ban alcahol in public plases then". Other people drinking does not give me the negative healh effects oif alcahol therefore I can select when in the pub weather I wish to expose myself to them.

actually what i have done is have as many clan members as i can add me as their officers. I click my own and theirs each day gaining 200 from their clicks. Im also gaining from any other clicks they get which is goving me a nice boost. I will have 2 IPs in the log, home and work. I tend to do one on alternating days (ie home on day 1, work on day 2, home day3...). I used to sploit the !@#$%^&* out of it last round and use many systems at work as well as home but stopped this activity when ail posted to state this was illigal. Only way proxies have affected me is if one of my officers has been using proxies (which i have requested they dont). If they have been then ill take some sort of a penalty to re-level the field. Please bare in mind that i have upgraded my UP as well.

that sucks. Weather has been crap in the UK as this summer with flooding. Im worried that the winter rain is going to cause problems with the water levels already being high after summer. All this tells us only one thing. Time to reduce your carbon footprint people.
