personally i belive the US to be selfish and arrogant. The reason we dispute is because we hold diffrent political values and those are bound to conflict. I believe that the US should think of others a little more. I understand thay they have internal affairs, all countries do but i feel it is the responcibility of nations with adequate resorces to do some things for the good of the world and not the land under their feet. Kyoto is a move taken in europe for the good of the plannet, the US has the resorses to do this, -*BAD WORD*- its the richest nation in the world yet they decide not to because it may have a small effect on the economy.

the people in charge of the weapons and the government know exactly the effects, just because they are poorer doesnt mean the scientists and govenment are less educated. The thing to worry about is that some of these nations may have motives to use them but to be honest i think they make them so people will listen to them once in a while.

yes baboons display homosexual behavior and i think there are other animals that do as well. One big thing is that 1 in 10 people have homosexual tendancies, that is far too high to be a coinsidence. If it was a genetic dead end the human race would be wiped out.

you make a very good point, marrige is a way of securing love between two people. The point about adoption is interesting. You say that gay parents are better then no parents at all. The thing is that gay parents can have a phycological effect on the childs devolpment and that will cause many problems in life.

i think that nations will only cooperate if they are directly benifited. Israil is a ver good example of this. Israil will not cooperate with the palistinian people because doing so would mean a great loss of land and leave them more prone to attack. The palistininas will not cooperate because they know israil will never give them what they want. When it cones to action by the UN the US always vitos it and cooperates with israil to help them fight the palistinians. They do this because the fighting requires millatary hardware which the US can sell israil. Israil benifits because they can keep the occupied areas and the US benifits because they make alot of money. I do think that there will be complete cooperation in the end but it will take a long time. The reason is that eventually people will be able to help eachother and that working as a team benifits everyone as nations can help each other when problems arise.

well it was a good discussion untill these worthless posts arrived. I think the flaming content of this is helthy, we are discussing how the selfishness and arrogance of the US govenment will ultimatly lead to its doom. From now post on topic or not at all.
