Thanks a lot lynx, a moment after you sent this I got an invite so I now have my own account up and running. It is true that the ads will be annoying, but at least the music will be better then the radio and we avoid personal MP3 players causing offense to someone. Idea is I will set it up on a laptop and anyone can come along and add whatever they want to the playlist, should be quite interesting.

trouble is we are on subgame. Cre talked about wanting to go to ASSS at some point but its not looking possible in the near future. Basically the bot just sits at its defined location, and when an enamy ship comes within a set range it aims, opens fire and kills them.

I appear to be a bot rusty, I cannot remember which bot I need. Many of you may remember that in the old DS (before flagging) there was a turf map within which were two bots protecting the spawns by killing anyone that attempted to enter. As they were a nice touch and quite a lot of fun I want to purt these back in the zone. Only problem is I cannot remember which Bot/plugin was used to do it. Does anyone know where I can get thus bot again?

We could also boast the fact that we are 100% player run as well. I think a lot of the "player run" games just have mods that get a free account or something.

look at your filewall settings, I know zone alarm is very good at preventing shared folders being seen.

I think it may be a good idea to use these stats to refine the ads. It is clear that some are more effective then others.

The thing that will get the small zones like DS populated is the zown owners amd mods working at it and creating a population base. The reason DS is dead at the moment is because devolpment stalled and the staff stopped playing. Bouncing players into dead zones will just annoy them. If you want your small zone populated get the work done, build a good base of insiders and watch the players join. This is what is going to happen to DS over the coming weeks, I'm fairly sure the result will be a small but stable population.
