Personally I really don't care if the ball is in the bases (as long as it is accessable). I only believe that the goal prize needs to come down and that if the goal price is high anything that slows down the almost constant goal messages is a blessing.

If the goals crack the 2k mark I usually will toss the ball into an empty base and bail to make goals less frequent and have the ballers actually DO something to earn the money If goals are 3 or 4k then I'll get some people together and have fun impeding the ballers progress. This isn't basing in the sense of me guarding it, this is just a challenge to you to fight other ballers in a base for the advantage of leaving the base with the ball in your team's possession. Balling needs to change, and I'm certain it will...its all just a matter of time.

Alright Today I have the day off from work and I've decided to host a whole load of events while I'm here The main event (so to speak) is a hopefully HUGE Basing event on the old map. This is going to be run at 3pm Eastern and right now I have set a ?timer incase you don't know how to tell time

Balling takes up too much of everyone's focus in Hyperspace when we do really want the Jackpot Basing to be the main goal. Balling should be left for people who need to earn a little bit before they can become successful basers. I think the balling equation needs to become a root function instead of an exponential function Something like 200 * (# of ships ^ 1/2) Ships--|---Goal amount ------------------------- ---5----|----$447 --10----|----$632 --15----|----$775 --20----|----$894 --25----|----$1000 This would allow balling to still be helpful without having the rewards skyrocket to insane amounts of $5000+
