I'm not going to play Extreme Games. I'm pretty sure that Extreme Games players feel the same about the zones that I like. People got different tastes. This suggestion is like saying 'let's cancel all NBA, NHL, NFL games so people will watch more... golf' or something. Good intention I'm sure, but it's totally bat!@#$%^&* fkin insane.

I don't understand how you consider turning a zero populated zone (quite literally) into a zone that was played daily by dozens of players. But your logic makes sense when one looks into your trollish nature. Either way, the false accusations you base your whole arguments upon are pretty old, (one being first used by you in 2004, that's almost half a decade ago!) while mine can be proven anytime just by reading what you have to say. All that really does is further proving that you don't really have anything to say, and that most, if not everything you say is simply said to troll. And of course, when I point that out, you fallback to some other old false accusation. I've asked this before but I'll ask it again because you never answered me: Don't you get tired of trolling? I mean do you really enjoy being the way you are? Making things up and pathologically sticking to it, even for years? I honestly don't understand how you can stand just being yourself, I can't imagine anyone doing it.

17th used to be based on leagues, but with no new blood coming in (probably because of a not-so-good- pub,) the zone slowly died. ;/ So all we can do now is wait for a pub to become successful. ..or something.. maybe not.. what do I know.

Yeah, for some reason I couldn't find it on SSDownloads. It wasn't on Top 20 and I couldn't find it on the clients section either, I guess I'm just a SSDownloads nubi. Anyways, thanks! And yes I know the difference between Continuum and SubSpace, when I started there was no Continuum ;D It's just a lot easier to test settings and stuff with SubSpace, specially when you don't have internet! When we had our peak, only 2 players were from DSB, but I don't see why it matters what zone they came from as long as they enjoyed playing in 17th. Short period of time? Sockey was hosted every single day, sometimes for hours. It obviously wasn't the ideal situation, but it was certainly better than not having anyone play at all. I don't recall "bragging" about anything really. I did share my "plan" with people though, and I suppose it would be interpreted as "bragging" by a person like you. If I didn't have to move then I'd still been working on trying to improve 17th and bringing it back. Before I was appointed Head SysOp, I told everyone what I was going to strive for, and in the end I did manage to spark a little life into 17th. Not alone of course, but hey, we didn't exactly have all the specialists lined up on our Dev Team, which is something that I was constantly looking for: reliable people who were willing to work thoroughly with me. And if there weren't then I didn't want to bother because I know that the results would've been disappointing. All or nothing! While I was in charge, we had over 100 different players playing, with the public population alone peaking at 19 out of 23 playing at the same time. This is excluding all the other people we had playing events, mostly Sockey. If there's still a website for statistics from that period then you can verify this. I don't know if you can verify the number of "unique" players online, I wish I knew how Nurples did it. I'm not going to deny that I failed to bring 17th back on its feet, which was the whole purpose of me being SysOp, but, and without making invalid excuses, this was due to many things, including lack of "resources". And I definitely wouldn't say that it was all a failure, and I'm sure that those who enjoyed playing would agree. I just failed to establish a stable, core population. If your statement is true then that's just something for me to rejoice about because all I ever wanted was for 17th to thrive. My way didn't work, hopefully this other way will, which is what we should focus on right now.

This is a good way to properly include all those gameplay elements that used to seem so random and out of place. Multi-objective pub has been something that characterized 17th for a long time, hopefully it'll be successful now that it's done properly. Good job and keep it up.
