Well, when you click on "downloads" it says: (Direct Download Link) "To play qrRO, you will need to install kRO, kRO Sakray, and the qrRO Client. In addition, you will need to update all of them to their newest versions." and then it says: KRO AND SAKRAY MIRRORS: "Below are a few links to sites that we recommend you utilize in obtaining kRO or kRO Sakray, as the main kRO website can be very slow most of the time." Im sure some of you heard of this game, some of you havent. But, I just wanted to let you all know that a buddy of mine re-launched his server just recently. He had a hundreds of players on the initial launch in 2004ish, and now he just relaunched since then. Its a really good community, alot of customized stuff, and as of right now, we get an average of 5-10 players online so far (remember, it JUST got relaunched last week). Let me clarify myself. First off, I could careless about being a netop, thats just more people bugging you about things. The only reason I threw myself into the lion's den is because one is NEEDED and it seems like nobody else is stepping up. By all means, the only reason I considered doing this was to help the community, not for my own needs, I could care less about "OMG IM DA NETOP BANZ" power hungry bs. I honestly wasnt even considering lvl1 netwide, I was mainly hunting for lvl4 in smaller zones, since the big zones are all handled, or if thats too much of a hassle, just a lvl4 net. I know a handful of zones that would give me lvl4 after explaining what its for, its just...whats the sense if all the zones arent covered? 2nd off, by my "people that dont matter" quote, I was simply stating that I have no drama with....how do i put this...zone owners, sysops, big staff, big community people, zone hosts, etc. Alot are actually very fond of me believe it or not. 3rd off, ALOT of people could vouch, I dont retaliate with power. Im not going to immaturely hold bias or vindictive opinions when it comes to a professional matter. Whats right is right, and whats wrong is wrong, end of story. On a personal note: Cre, you should know better than that. Out of all people, you are one in the handful. Dont let politics blind or bias your real opinions and natures.

Key people: For instance, popular people in the zone. Squad owners, vets, people that everyone wants to play on their team, you know...popular people.

I skimmed through, and ill agree with confess. The biggest problem, is that TW/EG/DSB newbs dont know anything outside of those zones. They dont care either. IE: You are on your Xbox live, playing...i dunno, rock band. You've got all your friends/people you know on xbox live. Then someone tells you to go play rock band on PS3 Online. What are you gonna say? Why would you do that? You either dont have a ps3 (newbs that dont know how to download zones) Or you see no sense to since you are more comfortable with xbox live because you get to play with all your friends/people you know. Now, if xbox live goes down, you either stop playing (newbs that dont know how to download other zones), or go play PS3 online (what happens when TW or EG goes down). As far as advertising goes, if you want pop from other zones to go into a smaller one, the key is to get key players to go. This is what I did when I had UT up. I would go to MG or RS or HS and grab key people. By grabbing these certain people, alot of other people would talk to them through PM or chat or ?find player, and see they are in a new zone. Then it starts to become a chain. Key person attracts 3 people, those 3 people attract 2 more each, then all of the sudden you got half the community in the smaller zone. This is what happened with Redstar/Fusion. EDIT: I just realized I got totally off topic and started talking about stealing pop, but I just got into one of those zones, lmao sorry.
