Short answer: no. First off, where is this? My roommates and I are paying $1600/month plus utilities for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, and we think it's a darned good deal. I think that you will find that the security deposit will be quite large (the amount is not mentioned). I think the improvements will be more hassle than they're worth. Also, do you really want to live in a house? The free time is not specifically stated, nor is the reduced rent. If they were really good numbers, they'd be in the listing. In terms of time and your gas, doubling or tripling your commute time is probably not worth it. It also seems like you might have to convince yourself that you want to live there and that this is a good deal, in which case you should not live there. Edit: Strikeout!
