If instead of saying this you have read what was on the links, I think you would agree with me on the fact he did not win the elections "legally". The most solid evidence would be the government itself admiting he did cheat, but you know as much as I do that nobody would ever do such a thing. But then, there is this quote coming from Otto Von Bismark that says: "Never believe anything in politics until it has been officially denied." Again, I invite you to read the links I've posted. ok. Let's say there is you, me and Mister X. You hate Mister X like -*BAD WORD*-. I give you the gun to kill Mister X. You kill him. Am I or am I not part of the crime? Then what threat is it to the American people if you are so sure about it?Air Force Brigadier General William Looney, the head of the Central Command's Airborne Expeditionary Force, spoke about the Iraqi people in a recent interview in Defense Week magazine: "If they turn on the radars we're going to blow up their -*BAD WORD*- SAMs (surface-to-air missiles). They know we own their country. We own their airspace... We dictate the way they live and talk. And that's what's great about America right now. It's a good thing, especially when there's a lot of oil out there we need."." ... :/ I know Saddam was an evil person. I know he executed some of his people because they disagreed with his point of view. I mean, who doesn't know now? What I wonder though is around how many individuals he killed. What are your opinions on the bombings by the way? We're they right to do so? Fine. Your point Still, who is going to pay for that deficit? Santino. Tell me where you see an insult and I will apologize. Why do you tell me to chill out? Plus, are you telling me that if I was American, then I would have had more right to post my opinion on the Novembers' elections than now? Little edit there: I also told earlier that foreign policies interested me :] Gives you a clue why I post here.

lmao. Earlier, I was tempted to add at the end of the other post: Tascar, if you have read this, please don't accuse me of anti-americanism again. I don't care if you don't have the patience to read it.

Wow, congratulations. Now if Saddam g!@#$%^&*ed them, shouldn't they feel at least a little responsible because of this betrayal? And didn't he get power with the help of the CIA? Oct. 7, 1959 -- On Baath assassination team that ambushes Iraqi strongman Gen. Abdel-Karim K!@#$%^&*em in Baghdad, wounding him. Saddam, wounded in leg, flees to Syria then Egypt. [This was not the only attempt to !@#$%^&*!@#$%^&*inate K!@#$%^&*em. In April 1960, the CIA approved using a poisoned handkerchief to kill K!@#$%^&*em. The "handkerchief was duly dispatched to K!@#$%^&*em, but whether or not it ever reached him, it certainly did not kill him." (Thomas Powers, The Man Who Kept the Secrets: Richard Helms and the CIA, New York: Knopf, 1979, p. 130.)] Feb. 8, 1963 -- Returns from Egypt after Baath takes part in coup that overthrows and kills K!@#$%^&*em. Baath ousted by military in November. [The coup was backed by the CIA. "As its instrument the C.I.A. had chosen the authoritarian and anti-Communist Baath Party, in 1963 still a relatively small political faction influential in the Iraqi Army. According to the former Baathist leader Hani Fkaiki, among party members colluding with the C.I.A. in 1962 and 1963 was Saddam Hussein.... "According to Western scholars, as well as Iraqi refugees and a British human rights organization, the 1963 coup was accompanied by a bloodbath. Using lists of suspected Communists and other leftists provided by the C.I.A., the Baathists systematically murdered untold numbers of Iraq's educated elite -- killings in which Saddam Hussein himself is said to have participated. No one knows the exact toll, but accounts agree that the victims included hundreds of doctors, teachers, technicians, lawyers and other professionals as well as military and political figures." (Roger Morris, "A Tyrant 40 Years in the Making," New York Times, March 14, 2003, p. A29.)] http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cf...=15&ItemID=4685 Scott Ritter, former UN inspector, believes Iraq was not a threat to the United States. Weapons of M!@#$%^&* Destructions were an excuse to invade Iraq, because they have none! And hey, if they ever find any... were you there when the US sold WMDs to Iraq in the '80s? http://www.commondreams.org/headlines04/0305-01.htm http://www.cnn.com/2002/WORLD/meast/09/08/ritter.iraq/ http://www.fff.org/comment/com0406g.asp And Jeesus -*BAD WORD*-ing Christ, can you tell me what the -*BAD WORD*- is that? http://www.ccmep.org/usbombingwatch/2002.html

^LOL... Kerry will turn the USA into a dictatorship? Live, I read all of your posts and they were very pleasant to read. Thanks for the compliment by the way :]

Hempz... Holy -*BAD WORD*-...

lol... A lot of afro-americans were denied voting in 2000 in Florida, because the republican party knew that a majority of the black population would vote democrat. Bush has been given presidency because of the Supreme Court... ok. Your point? No. Because Iraq is the second oil provider in the world and changed his petrodollar for a petroeuros, which could solidly hurt the american economy on the long term. For more info, visit this website: http://www.ratical.com/ratville/CAH/RRiraqWar.html Erm... ok. Where did I speak of China? Link? Book? I am not reading any propaganda website. Thank you for your thoughts.
-
No, theses are not fabrications of the Democratic party. I will simply refer you to the Florida case. Should you need more information, I would be glad to help you find it. I am interested in knowing what Clinton did wrong since this is the second time I hear a comment about him. If you remember correctly, war in Iraq was about Weapons of M!@#$%^&* Destruction. Where are they today? Several persons, plus a report coming from the CIA were telling that Iraq was _not_ a threat to the US. Again, should you need a link, just say it. Lol. That's your opinion, you know. If I knew my tax were going to a war that is probably all about petro-politics, man, I'd be pissed. I don't work at McDonalds, but if you're fine with that, it's all good man :] Um.. yes, I remember that story. Do you have a link though? If I'm not mistaken, they were harmless. How old are you? Isn't he married? The Kyoto protocal was made to reduce pollution around the world... It has nothing to do with a country being seized by a dictator, or China being against America's policy... You mean there is a recovery? ...?
-
Ok tasc. First, I'll accept your apologies even though I question wheter it really was humor or not... moving on: I am interested in politics, and even more in foreign politics. I never claimed I knew everything about America. I even never claimed I knew a lot about "American's overall". Maybe I know a little, maybe I don't. But let me ask you this: do you have to be American in order to understand your system? Maybe in four years I'll look into what Kerry has done and critisize some of his stuff. But how is critisizing Bush or any other politician anti-american? What is your definition of anti-american? I respect the fact that you don't support gay people and their fights. I am not homosexual myself but I believe they should have the same rights as we, straight people, have. Aren't we all humans after all? I do not support propaganda... I have no ideas what made you think that. Propaganda: information that is spread for the purpose of promoting some cause www.cogsci.princeton.edu/cgi-bin/webwn If trying to find truth and sharing thoughts with others is, for you, promoting some cause, then bleh, what can I tell you? Last thing I'd like to add, this is not the first time you say I am wrong. Where, and what is wrong? Please add some facts to your comments, it is so easy to say to try to contradict someone without bringing information to support your claims. That's all.
-
ok look. You know we could go on for a while on the subject, and we're already off topic. I'll PM you a link, and if you want to continue the debate, you can be my guest.
-
There's a difference between acting on wrong information' date=' and flat out lieing. Bush recieved wrong information, Cliniton lied. [/quote']Alright. What I've heard and read about war in Iraq was that the CIA made a report saying the country didn't represent a threat to America, and it was distributed to Bush. I might be wrong, but if you need a link, I'll try to look it up. But do you agree on the fact that he lied about the WMDs that Iraq were supposed to possess?
-
Thank you Tascar for your interesting point that brings a lot to the discussion. I wasn't expecting much from you to be honest. All you bring to political conversations is either 1) made up of blablerring, ignorant, non-sense -*BAD WORD*- or 2) stupid, pointless hate over somebody. Asking you to "get a life" might sound a little too vague for you. Therefor, I suggest you find a cliff and fall in. As you can see with my previous post (wait Tascar, are you sure you want to continue reading, this may burn your last braincells?), it is composed of facts; there is nothing I have made out myself. They are the reasons why I wouldn't vote for Bush, that's it. You want to vote for Bush, hey, that's fine. You have the right to have your opinion, but so do I. I'm sorry if you felt insulted by what I said, if so, please say where and why, and at least I'll see what I've done wrong. So please, help me fight global warning: shut the -*BAD WORD*- up Tascar. And grow up while you are at it. Thank you very much.
-
If I was American, I'd vote for Kerry. I find that Bush did a very bad job during his 4 years term and that he deserves to be driven out of the White House. Few reasons I wouldn't vote for him: - suspected of having rigged the 2000's elections - lied about the reasons of going to war against Iraq --> war in Iraq costs the american people 3.9 billion a month --> no WMDs have been found yet - biggest deficit seen during the great depression - against gay marriages - abandonned the Kyoto treaty - around 3 million jobs lost - tax cuts for the wealthier people... but what about the rest of the population? I'm very displeased to know he was also the first american president to have a criminal background. He also avoided conscription during Vietnam, thanks to his dad. Plus, he handled foreign policy in such a way... that I have difficulty describing it with words. Iraq, Haiti and Venezuela are good exemples. I don't know what to expect from Kerry if he gets elected in November. I think it'll be one of the biggest challenge an american president will have to face, due to the enormous problems Bush's administration have caused. I sincerly hope the american people gets something better than what it has right now.

oh no... not at all. In fact, both have a lot of similarities, so why not merge them and form a new party, the Republicrats?
-
They don't oppress their own people or (or and) foreigners? Florida: my point was not to tell you that votes were not counted well. Most of the black people _did not_ have the chance to vote, because Republicans knew they would vote Democrats. But here's an article for you anyways.
-
I don't feel the same way about your example over black people... Even if the US affirms that segregation (I don't know if it's the proper word in that context) is more than over, it's not... the stereotype of the black guy being the mean guy is still omnipresent, from what I can see coming from your medias. Umm... as for what you claim about democrats, I find it a strange statement, but again, it's not like the republicans never lie, uh? Aren't thoses lasts who banned a majority of black and hispanic people to vote in Florida in 2000, because they knew they'd vote democrats?
-
Do you plan on to go see this do-*BAD WORD*-entary? What are your opinions on Michael Moore?
-
Nice post. The big problem today is that there is no "universal" way of acting good (or right) or bad. Society set up values that are accepted by a majority and people who don't follow them are most of the time considered marginals.

You must be refering to Monroe's doctrine? If I'm not mistaken, the main purpose of it was to drive out Europeans out of the continent, but it was also used as "disguised colonialism". How do you explain that a region of the world that holds many ressources is poor like it is today? US interventions in South America http://www2.truman.edu/~marc/resources/interventions.html

I find it ok the way it is right now...
