  1. I have the same problem (hyperspace) but I HAVE updated the zones. A bunch of them still show up as red, zones that I know aren't down. I'm using: sscentral.sscuservers.net sscentral.trenchwars.org sscentral.subspacedownloads.com as server directories incase that's an issue.
  2. Tried to make a turret lanc. Even with a sig sublight it was next to impossible not to be slaughtered =\ Not to mention it's !@#$%^&* near impossible to avoid a brickwarp/coffin now. One rep holds you in place for 3-5 seconds >.<
  3. "see flags in spec" I know certain people in this zone who would use it to prevent flag games... not runwins. Other ideas are nice, but like omni said, there's a few issues in HS already that need attention.
  4. Sharks are fine, just learn to fly better. Maybe this will encourage new shark builds that work just as well.

  6. What about just blocking the entrance to the base? One line of tiles across the opening would have sealed it. Why are we talking about this again? B5 was gutted anyway.

  10. If only it were possible to make only pub freqs able to win.. Only problem is that during most runwins there are no mods on. No one would get banned cause no mods would see it o.O
  11. Just a request to the mods, I'm not telling you how to do your job or anything but... Please don't 'server recycle' in the middle of a flag game. Then, when the flag game is re-established, don't recycle again. Then when the flag game restarts yet again don't set the jackpot to -500,000 for 5 minutes just to reset the flags after the 5 minutes anyway. ... That was complete bs
  12. Keep in mind that the groups of 3 that runwin are always the kids who have most exp, most money and best equipped ships. Was the same before the reset, it would be the same now.
  13. $10 per summon means newbs dont get to FG since they buy gun+ammo, just to die rediculusly fast until they have no money.
  14. I wouldn't mind 5-6 people to have a turret freq, or maybe 2-3 for a balling freq... but then fg's would be incredibly harder to start due to people runwinning.

  17. How about splitting B8 in half, not for an extra base, but we could throw something else in there. TW and Scrap can stay in one half of B8 (vortex too if it still has meaning) while the other half can be used for duels or something.
  18. Since the lanc really doesn't have access to any good guns besides sig, how would a higher gunspeed effect lancing? Or has this been tried before. If it wont work, would a longer bullet time be effective so that the lanc still has to rush forward to shoot but the bullets wont dissapear half way to the enemy. Also I think being able to deny people from attaching to you would be cool. Not practical in the average game, but certain people like to be !@#$%^&*es and attach+stay attached/reattach just to screw over your movement.
  19. Even if you dont wave the thors to hit at the same time, there are so many people thoring right now that it doesnt matter. Even with the delay it's just a constant stream of thors being thrown at you. Good ideas (if possible) the only issue with D is that people will change ships before they win so the siege mount nerf wont take effect. I do like A and B though. Only other thing i can think of for at least a temp fix is to limit the ammount of siege mounts to 1 per ship.
  20. It's not that lancs are boring (I mean they are, you just sit there and type to your team but anyway) they don't get you any money or exp. There's godda be something to not only make lanc's fun, but to make money/exp from them too.
  21. Even if 2 thors = +150 delay. Once you shoot the first thor, it's back down to +75 delay. To be honest, the delay isn't working out, it isnt detering anyone from thoring and since you can shoot the first one slow, second one fast, they can both hit at the same time. I say thor = $200+. No less since it's the people who are already rich spamming them >.>

  23. Recharging ammo for cheaper guns, ammo for the better guns? =D Though personally I don't find ammo to be that big of an issue.

The hallway directly under the entrance has 1000 spots to bomb/gunline while the attackers are forced into 1 spot, there is no hope for the attackers to get through without the defending team letting them in. Since the defending team is always made of hoppers who don't care about everyone else's fun, they don't let them in. But B5 is full of autoturrets now so yay.
  25. To sum up arguments. No anti-warp = thorstorms and leaks ruining FGs.
