How about making the minibase a little bigger and placing a powerball goal inside, or since the center area is so big you could put several minibases in the center with turf flags and/or goals.
no kidding? was that after the WII stunt? i figured ppl would have learned their lesson. the lady that died in the radio contest for the WII console actually came in 2nd. OK same incident I think.
A woman died here in my city at some radio show contest. It was a water drinking contest for tickets to some concert. She won the contest but then became very ill and died in route to the hospital.
Well said Exiili. I also think events are a good thing for HS. I don't think squad based events are a bad idea either. More squad based events will encourage more squads in the zone. The problem last time was that a member of one of the participating squads was coordinating the event and everyone balked. I think it was fair to say that Unix's role wasn't completely unbiased, hence the boycott of HSDT or whatever it was. Another +1 for Exiili for the subarena sugestion. A subarena with it's own ship settings is the only way you could really do a dueling event and make it fair. The only type of League or squad based event were you could use your customized ships would be perhaps in a Flagging Tournament and two squads pick a 10 player roster or something and go at it. Other zones have done this time and time again without a fluke. I'll quit repeating Eliixi now.
I will agree that her prizing her squad for a "default win" was a bit shady. No one competed with The Opressors because there was a boycott of Unix's squad events. I can only assume that her prizing her own squad was her way of slamming the door on the way out in response to the boycott's success. Oh ok. Sarcasm is so hard to get across on message boards but I guess that should have been obvious.
Wow I must have really racked up durring those last 5 minutes. I lost about 25k after yesterday's recycle. I'm not really worried about 25k, I'm just saying that players might be losing or might have lost more than you claim.
So basically we would be able to store bought items in a "hanger/wharehouse" without selling them and therefore be able to swap items based on situational need? If so that would rock.
I see. I thought lag was also increased by excessive tiling as well. I'm still learning so I may be off on that one. In one zone I played in a long time ago, they talked about doubling the tiles around the border to try and prevent people from nueting flags out side of the arena but the idea was shot down because it was said that doing that would increase zone lag.
