Inflation shouldn't really be a problem since there will be odds that even out the betting, and also people will be losing money to the house as well. I don't really see how betting against other players will work. I think betting against the house would be more popular amongst the players and so it would be worth actually taking the effort to get it running.

I'd think it'd be less complicated to just bet against the house. You could use a bot for it, and just start it during each duel of the tourny for people to bet on.

We could bet against other players, or bet against bots, much like at a horse track.

How is it degenerate behavior? He didn't steal it. He didn't hack it. He didn't break any rules. This is purely a case of morals which does not fall under the category of any kind of behavior, degenerate or not. Something like morality cannot be expected to be upheld over the internet because there is no social pressure, no physical pressure, nothing. Basically on this game there are plainly rules and nothing else. If he didn't break any, he did no wrong.

I can't believe you honestly said that I provoke you to say what you do. If you'd actually check your logs, most of the time you start with me when I'm talking to someone else. For instance about dueling: You enter the duel arena and start crying to me over what I said to d1st0rt about the new dueling system. Another time, I was talking to Blocks about some shit and you come in and start bitching at me for no reason. It's pretty funny hearing you call me a troll because it's so hypocritical. You troll so much more than anyone I know. Whenever you're in game I hear you arguing with somebody about something. It must give you endless satisfaction to make a fool out of yourself. It's not about you being a staffer or a player. I don't complain about your attitude as a staffer. Personally I think all the staff in HS are self-righteous, ignorant douches who are never wrong. It's okay to live in your own world to escape the truth and pretend you're always right when you keep saying completely ridiculous things ((Arnk), but it's ok because that's just the way you are. Oj with the jokes maybe, although then people don't have to make as many decisions and we'll probably end up with a lot of the same ship Actually no. If a full duel warbird would cost maybe 250k, the tourney should only allow 150k to each player (prices are just an example). This way, people can customize based on what they think is more important. They won't have enough to buy everything for their ship. Therefore, some people would rather get better sublights, others might prefer better reactors, some people might completely ignore addons and emitters, who knows? This way, the ships will be based on the player's personal needs and not just what the prime dueling ship is.

Shouldve done this before the reset imo. However, I really suggest you use set ships rather than pub ships. Right now, people barely have any money or exp except for a few people who have been grinding nonstop. Maybe just use javelim settings for jav and make some for warbird. It would be a lot more balanced and it would allow for everyone to play and have a chance, not just the grinders.
