the latest release (Continuum .39) is a PRERELEASE. its not an actual, official, release. Continuum .38 is way more stable, however Continuum .39 has some bugs fixed wich .38 doesn't have. Furthermore, Continuum .38 was released and developed some time ago, when the computers ran windows 98. Further development on this has stopped to the point that nobody is hearing from the main developer, Priit K. So that explains recent problems with the game.

Tex, that won't happen. This group was founded to discuss setting changes for pub and once everybody agrees on them, they will be put forward into the arena. We will create settings everyone on this group likes and agrees on. What you suggest only makes everyone to make their own settings and try to get them used - aka chaos. Also, I won't be uploading 10 different setting files.

you need to be on vip.txt of the zone you like to connect to. This allows the client to connect with a bot / subchat or an old subspace client.

Most servers/zones will kick you with continuum .39 pr3 because the server software hasn't got the patch for it installed. The server will notice wrong encryption, report it to sysops and after some flood of errors it will kick the client. Since Continuum .39pr3 is not officially released and/or supported (its only a prerelease) it won't be soon for the servers/zones to update their software to allow pr3.

Removed the account, try registering again.
