  1. Still, I have tried such a thing and didn't got it working too, SOS. (Got the same error as guest above)
  2. resolution is only way to change size of the window in windowed mode
  3. Why the !@#$%^&* keep people trying to use that mostly annoying 'Run As...' mode
  4. Post your server.ini and subbil.ini here so we can check them for errors. Make sure there is no firewall at your router blocking the ports, which most of the time gives this error message. I believe you need to have the port of your biller (and +1) and the port of your server (and +1) needs to be free and unblocked.

also considering Priitk is busy with other things in life instead of work he doesn't get anything for in return.
  6. insulting != har!@#$%^&*ment so, no. Unless har!@#$%^&*ment as stated in the policy.
  7. - Make sure you have the latest directx drivers, if not, update them. - You can make use of the hot-keys displayed here: - Make sure you are trying this out with Continuum 0.38 ; Continuum .39pr1 is known to be unstable and has (other) small bugs. - Disable any programs that is messing with the style of your windows, like StyleXP. - [Hunch:] Make sure you have the latest video (card) drivers and installed. For the rest, I don't know. I haven't experienced this problem.

First we had subspace, that's the old client. It was made by VIE (Virgin Interactive). Since subspace was so "easy" to hack for cheats, people cheated too much and subspace died. Priitk, together with Mr. Ekted coded a new client, based on the subspace protocol called 'Continuum'. This is the client we are using today.

That can't be causing the problem unless you totally messed with alot (ALOT) of Windows dlls
  10. Next time lets not do anything Confess asks unless he is giving details and is serious about it all. AOG Redirect will be removed in a couple of days since no zones run as AOG at all.

Do NOT run with "Run As.." mode since that will only screw up Continuum even more then you are now. The "Run As.." mode is a way to run a program with someone else's profile and rights, however, you also run the program in a way that Windows XP tries (yes, it never really succeeds) to prevent anything being written to the harddisk. This must be done in a weird way because the program still thinks it can. There are so many causes for this problem, including bad dll's (which might not even be from Continuum installation). Here is a list of things that might be related to, or even might sclve the problem: 1) Update Video drivers to the latest version and DirectX (http://www.windowsupdate.com) 2) Make sure every test checks out ok with dxdiag (Start / Run / 'dxdiag' ) 2) Anti-Spyware & Anti-Virus (these shouldn't be the cause, at least not anti-virus) 3) Try using this package (unzip in a different directory, then try to run Continuum.exe) I hope these will help to solve the problem. Let me know the outcome.
  15. Here, they should just zip or rar it. 7z is so unknown... http://www.17thparallel.com/mav/Continuum%...0Ini%20Tool.zip

Its usually caused by software around Continuum then Continuum itself; however Continuum self should be modified too. Alot of users has already experienced that some anti-spyware or antivirus software caused this problem.
  18. AceSpades, The problem with this issue is that it is still not certain what is causing this bug / error. However, I can give you some things to try out to get it working once again. First of all, using the 'Run As...' mode is not recommended since Windows XP will disallow Continuum to save files / settings to the hard disk causing all kinds of other errors. To solve the original problem, try disabling the firewall (totally), disabling anti-virus software and any other program that might interfere with Continuum. With some cases, this solved the problem. When all fails, you should try reinstalling the game once again (uninstall it first). Install the game in a complete other folder on your harddisk.
