That's actually quite logical since that's a Continuum-only thing, Witchie. Nonetheless, it would be nice to see that in subchat aswell
  3. Please read this FAQ. [Moving this topic from Feedback and Support to Technical Support]
  4. This topic is going to stop right here - this forum is not meant to be used to help you get around security systems. You have been helped too much already.

  6. http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp : You should try to contact networksolutions and let them know about your problem.
  7. Restarting your computer wont' reset your history files unless there is a custom script that runs on a computer startup. Furthermore, history files won't affect the behaviour of a proxy server whatsoever.
  8. VMWare isn't designed to run games in a virtual image, it's logical that such problems arise. You're probably better off using this: http://wine.getcontinuum.com
  9. Yay sourceforge! Do you allow people to join so they can use the repository and help in development ? If you need help with website(s), let me know, maybe I can help you in hosting. For the TWCore project D1st0rt and I setup a Trac environment which I'm really satisfied about. Maybe you would favour the same?
  10. Open in paint, File / Save as / Save as type: PNG (*.PNG)
  11. You can't upload bmp's, convert them to png or gif first.

  13. Are you running Windows, doc ? Can I ask where you have bought it ?
  14. As explained in http://forums.sscentral.com/index.php?act=...=01&HID=23: Use ?lostp!@#$%^&*word to have a new password be sent to the email address you set when registering the name. If that doesn't work, visit http://www.ssbase.com/billing.shtml . If you mean you have the password filled in your profile but don't know what it is anymore; no you can't recover that one. (Unless you use some sort of hack program that lets you see the letters under the ****** in your profile.)
  15. Why? If it's about the avatar, I just removed that and PM'ed him about it.
  16. Yoink, I noticed you have to wait a while for all the images to load properly in your browser. Try that
  17. A Subspace server would never use more bandwith then a Wolfenstein ET server or any other new-age game server. Remember that subspace/continuum was made for modem users. I think you can support the same number of players on a subspace server as Trench Wars has - they should run a single subspace server aswell. For specs of the server, you don't need to get really much. Ofcourse a 1 GHz wouldn't cut it when you want to support alot of players but any other modern server would do just fine.
  18. In your case, you will get a nice ban for spamming the forum with pointless posts.
  19. When googling for "TA memory" I found someone suggested to use this tool to find out manufacturer information from the memory module while it's still plugged into the computer. Have you already tried this?

  21. What syrus said
  22. On top of Continuum client? There is currently nothing available that lets you do this.
  23. Theoretically that should be possible. You can read the text in the Continuum window by reading some memory from Continuum or by attaching a process to Continuum that reads the text from the window. However I believe the Continuum client is protected by all kind of anti-debugging securities amongst others. Theoretically possible, practically impossible or undoable. I have seen a program do such a thing (I forgot the name); it created ascii art-like text and then used Continuum to send it (at least, that is what the author claimed). There was no source of the program though.
  24. Happy birthday Swift! Open up your e-mail to see my birthday gift Did everybody else also give him a birthday gift? We all owe him some because of SSFN How is your birthday for the rest, Swift? Going to do some fun stuff?
