I just went to their page and it said: "ou do not need a Best Buy or Geek Squad Service Plan to take advantage of our in-store repair services, and we can even repair most items that were not purchased at Best Buy. Software repair pricing starts at $199.99. Hardware repair/upgrades start at $29.99." Well, since I don't need any software installed, looks like it's just going to be $29.99. Let's just hope they don't decide to install Windows Vista out of "policy" and then charge me $200 for software service, then $100 for the OS, and then $30 for the video card like I've seen in some of those horror stories. Lol. considering this job would probably take me 4 hours, the $30 is well worth it.

My girlfriend's laptop has been sitting on my floor for the past year now, it can run perfectly fine and it's actually a pretty nice setup, but the video card was knocked loose somehow and sometimes the screen will turn black (not shut off) - you can literally press down on the place where the video card is and have video come back to the screen. She just needs someone to open it up and put it back in place, and being the puzzle this task most likely is (horror stories from taking mine apart) I've suggested she just bring it to Geek Squad. But she wants to bring it to Staples. I didn't even know Staples did this stuff. So, in your opinion, Geek Squad or Staples?

can someone check out the name Superfighter? I wanted to see if the name was available when I was thinking of a new name to make, so I tried it. I typed in superfighter and my usual password (jumbled letters/numbers like X7bS3v5 etc) and .. well, it's as if I logged in to the name with the correct password. It didn't ask me for my email, it just .. logged in. It says I made the name in like 99 or 98 but the ?userid is really big and I actually made it like a year ago
