I think it would be useful to have this feature. Yes I'm also aware this belongs in the development zone forum, but I want discussion, not a yes/no answer from somebody who is less than likely to implement this in the first place. The idea is simple, whenever you start flagging, ?lancs tells you the lancs on your time. If there is only one lanc, you always attach to that one. Rarely do you ever do ?lancs to see whos lancing without the intention of attaching to one. My suggestion is quite simple, ?lancstach attaches you to the first lanc on the list, and keeps attaching to that one until he's not on the list, or not lancing, etc. Also as a common sense rule it would attach you to the BACK lanc, this could simply be calculated by who has been alive longer. Now of course this will get mixed up a bit with lets say, a fr lanc dropping flags and a team lanc etc, but the idea is to make the ?lancs and /?attach commands into one, ?lancstach boom you're flagging. Simple as that. (Plus, with this you don't need to worry that you're attaching to a lanc that's rushing and you're going to die right away)
