The Real Picard

I now realize only the zone Sysop can moderate a chaos forum, no biggie. As for the kids who drudge up the past, they're referring to all sorts of things I did on the internet, I told you, they're obsessed with me. About 10 or more years ago I inquired about things that intrigued me... having two daughters I wanted to know about the then widely unknown date rape drugs (they spun it like I wanted to buy some), I was fooled into a couple pyramid schemes and tried to promote them, then learned they were just scams. Some of these kids have nothing better to do then track me and my history. I guess I should be honored, but it, they, get old. As for the comment about having to leave ssleague forum?! LOL, I was not asked to leave, in fact, I donated cash on a regular basis to passplay FOR the zone, I just got tired of the bs politics, being told I can't insult others and that others were to stop insulting me... I stopped, they continued, nothing was done. At least to my knowledge. SuG who I see personally as part of the problem with Chaos dying out, and in all fairness, he would probably say the same of me, grew on my nerves to the point of my leaving that forum due to the way it was managed. Finding this place presents a breath of fresh air and I am ever so thankful for the opportunity and priviledge of being here. When they say I am not allowed please be reminded I am the one who let them know that I have come here and invite others to before that zone all together implodes. With online players numbering 10, 11, 12, 13, etc most of the time I now realize that there are plenty of other zones worthy of my time and money (if ever needed). My whole point of this post is that I know my leaving their forum would incite this sort of attack by those who participate in the obsession over me, I in no way endorse this sort of activity and wanted to make sure I would be a safe refugee from their attacks. I thank you all for letting me express my two cents without fear of retribution. I guess OARs reply about enjoying my new home and leaving not by my own choice deserves a reminder that I could always go back there if they want to continue playing this obsession game. (shrug) Now, if I can only learn how to get into the top 10 of the RPG before the end of the month, then I will consider myself very fortunate. Peace, and thanks again! TRP

True members of Forum Central, I will ignore the taunts of those who would come here to have a war of wits, I only want to play Subspace, RPG and participate in discussions about the game, and share thoughts with those who play the game. You should understand though, as others come and join this forum with good intentions, I have a following of stalkers who are obsessed with me, and with this I may be in need or your help. Is this true? If you have 1000 attack troops should you have 1000 L2 bombs for them all to use the most powerful bombs? Kinda makes some sense to me, but is it true? TRP

If (and I mean a big if) you're going to start arming people at school shouldn't it be the teachers/adults? Raging hormones + guns is never a good idea in my opinion. There are a lot of better ways to handle the situation than creating another battle field... although, as a Forensic Psychologist this idea would probably more than quadruple my "business" =P Very well put and an excellent idea and solution to the potential problems that exist with kids bringing guns into schools. Well said. I wonder why this hasn't been thought of in much larger terms by the government or media. I for one, would have no problem with armed teachers helping to protect my children against mentally disturbed or deranged killers. Do the Chaos Big Shots, those in power and their monkeys carry any weight over here? I am being told that they can 'make things bad for me' here... recently I noticed "Search" coming in as "TRP is gay" and then "Sneakerz" joining here. Their fear, that I might actually be granted the ability to moderate a Chaos Forum here and that the good folks of Chaos might migrate to these forums based on how great this place is. Should I be concerned about their supposed claimed influence they have here or not? One of the things I love about this place is how different it seems to the dictatorship style currently imposed by those in power in the Chaos Forums. Thank God they don't operate the zone the same way as they do their forum. TRP

I just had, admittedly a whacked out idea... if bad and/or crazy kids can gets into high schools, colleges, etc. then why not allow all kids in those age groups the right to protect themselves by allowing them as well to have conceiled weapons permits? Of course under strict guidelines, phychological testing, etc. Then, when some whacked out kids decides to take out 20 or 30 kids, maybe one of them will be able to pop the whacko thereby saving lives that would have been lost. I mean, the crazies get the guns anyway, why shouldn't good kids be allowed to defend themselves? Your thoughts? TRP

Why not reset every other month? Seems to me it might be more fun to see how big the "Masters" can get, and give some of us nooBs as we come along a fighting chance to reset ourselves the 1st week if we want to while learning the game. I have to admit, I love this RPG as much as these forums. Nice job folks!!! TRP

1995 Beta, always as "The Real Picard", and can remember playing along side of Jeff Petersen and Blackie. The public macro use was left in the game due to Jeff always being amused at my Kill Macros. Fact or Fiction? Jeff and I know for sure! Blackie does too. Peace, TRP

Why isn't or where is a RPG forum? One for nooBs like myself, and a place where we can discuss the game, specifically for those of us actively (or not) involved in the game? Curiously, TRP

Signatures are cool, I agree they should be a full page but they should allow one to express who they are or what they're feeling. One of the BIG things I like here is the liberal way you folks run and operate these forums... no big bad !@#$%^&* rules (for the most part). You encourage folks to particiapte, even and up to having a RPG game that rewards one for contributing to the forums by posting. I think this is awesome! I have watched other totally destroy the Chaos forum to the point of having to beg to part of the ssleague community, that coupled with heavy censorship and an over abundance of rules and prejudice has driven me away from there. I now would like to call Forum Central my home. And I am confident in time many others will migrate here too! You have alot to offer loyal Subspace Players, aw crap, I love you guys! and gals!
