lol...since when does football take more skill AND athleticism? the average person playing in a football game with his friends, would most likely be able to do all the required things. run, throw, etc. they may not be the best at it but they can do it. but an average person playing football? dribbling the ball, which requires coordination because you gotta keep your eyes up, and actually be able to handle the ball, and that alone takes a lot of skill. then on top of that, you gotta be able to jump in in fade-away positions to get your shot off with a defender up on your face and be able to hit that shot. and you're telling me that it doesn't take more skill? basketball is repi!@#$%^&*ion, but not in the sense that each and every time, it's the same thing. every single shot is different. it could be a fade-away, a leaner, hook shot, etc. i never said that it doesn't require skill to play football. all i said was that it requires less than basketball. apart from the throwing, there aren't any other skills that require you to have extensive training in order to completely dominate the game.
