  1. i've played highschool basketball too. i've played football once in a while. i don't just learn about basketball through resources. i can tell you right now that it was a lot easier for me to participate in a game of football, even though my skills in that game suck...than it was for me to actually play basketball. when i first started with basketball, i couldn't do a thing. i'd lose the ball every 3 seconds, it would bounce off my feet, i couldn't get my shot up, etc. it tooks years and playing everyday for me to actually get better and be able to do the basic things.
  2. oh wow, balling by myself is really playing. when have i ever participated in a full-blown game? this topic doesn't mean that i'm close-minded. do you people seriously have trouble understanding that word? voicing your opinion is not close-minded. i made valid points about the original topic and i accepted the other side's point of view. i said, what they're arguing is understandable, but look at the other side as well. now, tell me who's close-minded. they failed to look at my side, yet it's me who's close-minded? lol. you people are funny. i know i'm not dumb. that's a funny thing to say because you act as if i pull !@#$%^&* outta my !@#$%^&*. my opinions are based on experiences, observations, material that i've learned from school, etc. so, when i have an opinion that you don't entirely agree with it doesn't make me close-minded. people think differently, people have their reasons, did you ever think of that? obviously not. lol@you acting like you're all smart and !@#$%^&*. point proven what? that i'm a blunt person and i voice my opinion regardless of what others say? that i have enough confidence and knowledge to stick to my own opinion. never once have i not accepted his opinion.
  3. i think it's funny that you wanna sit here and tell me about my fav. basketball player who i've followed for years. don't for one second think that iverson wouldn't have been in the NFL had he not had his scholarship taken away. obviously if he made it, he would spend "all the !@#$%^&* time training", uhhh duurrrr? lmaoooooo come at me with something better, "she wont stop !@#$%^&*uming she is right"...when did i assume that i was right? IT'S A !@#$%^&*ING OPINION, OBVIOUSLY IT'S ONE-SIDED, but of course, you don't even know what the word opinions means. this is not a persuasion, i don't think he came in here with the main goal to change my opinion, he came in here to voice his opinion and let me know his side. it doesn't matter if he throws facts at me because we've both thrown valid points at each other. i accepted his point of view and i continue to voice mine. i accepted that he made some valid points. any ignorant mother!@#$%^&*er who says that i'm close minded...seriously...you need to go back to school. being close-minded would be the right thing to say if i sat here and said YOU'RE !@#$%^&*ING STUPID BECAUSE YOUR OPINION SUCKS. that's not what i did, i took my opinion and i ran with it, you stated yours and i stated mine. imagine 3 years with somebody who only cared about their ego & doesn't give a !@#$%^&* about other people's feelings. imagine being kicked to the bottom & spit on by somebody who threw out the word love like it was nothing.
  4. lol...since when does football take more skill AND athleticism? the average person playing in a football game with his friends, would most likely be able to do all the required things. run, throw, etc. they may not be the best at it but they can do it. but an average person playing football? dribbling the ball, which requires coordination because you gotta keep your eyes up, and actually be able to handle the ball, and that alone takes a lot of skill. then on top of that, you gotta be able to jump in in fade-away positions to get your shot off with a defender up on your face and be able to hit that shot. and you're telling me that it doesn't take more skill? basketball is repi!@#$%^&*ion, but not in the sense that each and every time, it's the same thing. every single shot is different. it could be a fade-away, a leaner, hook shot, etc. i never said that it doesn't require skill to play football. all i said was that it requires less than basketball. apart from the throwing, there aren't any other skills that require you to have extensive training in order to completely dominate the game.
  5. so...you're telling me that it's the same level of difficulty to throw an open p!@#$%^&* as the quarterback...who usually do have about 5-10 seconds before the other team comes swarming in...COMPARED to basketball...where a defender is constantly up on you, within inches of you, AND they got their hand up in your face. not to mention, if you're a smaller player, you have to shoot over taller players as well. i've been a basketball player my whole life, so i know how hard it is...mind you, a lot of basketball players are football players as well and very good ones. BUT football players can never play basketball. As I've been both, its much easier to be the starting point guard than it is to be the starting corner back. You have no idea what you are talking about. There is a reason why NFL players don't come straight out of HS, and its not just because of size. oh really? lol. how many point guards in the NBA today are actually stars? very few are considered elite.
  6. <3 hunnybun
  7. i see somebody has a crush on you ;) lmaoo
  8. it's okay, i'm here for you hunnybun <3
  9. that's a stereotype. and no, making it into the NBA doesn't qualify as good because very few NBA players rise to the top. wanna be a good football player? get yourself big and strong.
  10. Well, you're annoying enough. I don't think it's possible for a guy to be so argumentative. Not to mention the: ... awww feeling a bit left out, are we? it's okay...SeVeR <3
  11. actually...you aren't making any sense. he clearly stated that it is easy to steal pictures off the internet. then, he said that he got a video/sign with his name on it and suggested that someone was paid to make them. and i said...if the pictures were stolen from somebody, why would that person make a sign/video for someone else to put on the net?
  12. OMG poopie use your common sense. who in their right mind will allow someone to steal their pictures, then make a sign/video for them?
  13. D1st0rt <3 why do you keep referring to Audry as "he"? lol. if the video matches the pictures...then i'm !@#$%^&*uming it's her, no? and oh noes...d1st0rt thinks i'm a guy *cries* i don't think you referring to any of the girls here as guys will affect us in anyway, but nice try. try not to gas yourself though, my impression of you is nothing to drool over. i'm showing you sympathy for being denied entry to Audry's pumpum & developing the hostility because of it. <3
  14. lmaooooo it is clear to me that you have no clear understanding of the NBA and matchups. Bulls may crush Miami, who knows, they have Wade and Shaq for a reason. but the matchups create a problem for Miami. The Nuggets are a completely different team. had they had iverson for the WHOLE season, they would be at the top, guaranteed. they killed the spurs because AI and melo are unstoppable. Spurs have nobody to match up to those 2. LOL @ what you said about the MAVS. wow. they were killed by the 8th seeded team. the Warriors. enough said. Warriors swept the season series. why? because of matchup problems.
  15. k =)
  16. first of all...i NEVER mentioned the other sports. ONLY football. to throw a ball that far, i think it's mostly acquired through years and years of repi!@#$%^&*ion, which is why most of the time, their aim is pretty accurate. but other than that, what other skill is needed? tackling opposing players? but basketball...there are only a handful who are good at what they do. it requires more athleticism and focus.
  17. basketball > football basketball is a sport to display skills and athleticism. football is a sport where you display agressiveness, i don't see how that is fun to watch.
  18. "Off topic: Basketball sucks, get into a real sport where slapping isn't a foul. " how does basketball suck? lol. it takes skills to know how to play and play well.
  19. i think it goes beyond having friends to socialize with and being singled out. they said he was troubled before he even came to America, so i think he was born with some sort of mental illness. perhaps something to do with paranoia? the only reason why he would go on a rampage is because he felt the world was against him. many people are depressed, and have no reason/desire to live, but they don't go shooting everybody then kill themselves, they just commit suicide.
  20. lol i'm sorry but you know absolutely NOTHING about ball. IVERSON & MELO would own the Rockets. and put McGrady back into this mid-life crisis.
  21. Not necessarily. I've got a friend who had been dating a girl since they were both around 15 or so. They just got married about a year ago. I'm not saying they all are like that, but just because they are young, doesn't mean things won't last. I've got two other friends who dated from the time they were 14-15 until the guy graduated ahead of the girl, then I they eventually broke up after he went to college. yes...i do admit that in RARE cases they do work out. but most of the time, it ends up in a breakup. --- anyway, thanks for the entertainment when i was bored. but i got places to go and things to do now. annnddd i gotta watch the ball game soon. D1st0rt <3
  22. honestly...when i was 14 and older guys tried something like that, my first reaction was ew. i recognized myself that i was still young and was still maturing. i hung around a lot of older people as well, but that didn't mean that i was mature.
  23. lol... you're not even playing ssrpg. lol..it doesnt matter. i still win
  24. in other words...they're experiences that help 14 year olds mature.
  25. ACTUALLY....if you've even seen me...i don't play, dumb!@#$%^&*. i only downloaded the game again because my friend is the owner of a zone and i wanted to check it out. and what's wrong Dist0rt? Audrey wouldn't give you any pumpum? lmaoooooooo...it's okay hunnybun <3 thank you for proving my point. regardless of what people say, that age doesn't matter - it does. in rare cases, 14 year olds do endure A LOT of hardships, and mature quicker. but that is rare.
