why would you be in favour of radar detectors?

i don't really care though.. it's expensive but i can manage it right now. i never get caught though. that one time doesn't count lol. i usually go over the limit 20-30 when im driving. sometimes 40. i'm still a safe driver... i just like to get to where i'm going fast lmao.

honestly... they're not even that big. they just look bigger in that particular picture. anyway... they're starting to crack down on illegal ways of getting the driving class certificate. i don't wanna take the risk because if you're caught, they confiscate your license.

yeaaa but i don't have time at all, between school and work. i didn't even take driving classes to prep for my road test or anything... i learned by myself & i was already driving wayyy before i got my license lol. take a class?! wtf. i got a speeding ticket for going 5 over the limit AND the sleeps with mothers was standing at the bottom of a hill, using the radar... obviously cars are gonna be going a bit faster because of gravity. but yea...it was a $90 ticket and it would've been recorded by my insurance company.

im in toronto right now and the insurance rates are crazy. 3500 would be reduced by half if i had the stupid driving school certificate.

i "cussed" in another language, and got warned for it. the person who warned me didn't even know wtf it meant. seriously, that's how stupid staff is.

Canada's army acts like more of a "peace keeping unit", compared to America's army, who acts like an "invasion unit". why would Canada need a strong army anyway? almost every country around the world is on good terms with Canada. can't say the same for America, hence the difference between the two armies.

Where in my posts have i told him to change it? try to point that out for me. kthnx,tryagain. i'm not really arguing against it, i'm questioning if having that rule actually does anything. also, i'm pointing out that staff is inconsistent with punishment. well, i just want you to answer why people get punished for spelling out the entire swear word, but not when they leave a letter out. i understand why the rule is up there, but in the bigger perspective, i don't see it being that effective.

ok then if they never talk at all... most of the swearing occurs in the spec chat, and the people are in spec are certainly over 14, most are actually over 18... and we swear for fun, and none of us mind, why punish us for it? also, i find it ironic that we can't say "", yet, we can say "" and get away with it. i'm sure the kids still know that it's swearing despite eliminating a letter.

ok...well, name kids who are currently under 14 years of age and play HS. the only one i can think of is Sharpflame, and he has the power to punish people for swearing, which he never does.

it's the internet... for example, are you saying that parents should NOT expect there to be predators online? parents do expect that. people should expect to be exposed to all kinds of things. kids aren't dumb. they come across hatred, racism, etc. on the internet everyday. why is swearing something new? stopping it from happening in HS isn't gonna stop it from happening elsewhere.
