Cyclone was not slightly faster than salvo unless you believe a 2:1 ratio is slightly since cyclone bombdelay = 25 and salvo = 50. Between, you said oringally that is why I said if you have a bomb they wouldnt be able to shoot. It wouldnt be overpowered like cyclone cause no matter how much damage the bomb does or how fast you shoot the bomb, you wouldnt be able to shoot it cause of energy cost. So if we have an item now that doesnt have 2 of the 3 factors that make cyclone strong, it wouldnt be overpowered right? Just cause someone else does it, does not make what you did is right. This brings us to the re!@#$%^&*ed comeback of "If another staff decided to ?kick or a player randomly for giggles, would you do it as well?"

Its because those 2-3 bases is more favorable to defenders.

Man....that is so dam true. I wouldnt say dev has a failure of logics. In theory, the current reps and burst works pretty well. But in reality...it just doesnt cut it because of greed. Dev need to realize that even if usage of reps+burst barely break even on attack or at least for me cause im able to kill with 3 burst + 4 reps. Most people wont bother to use them cause they usually dont earn a profit. Also...I wouldnt really push all the blame on a player. Its more like players cause theres too many players that waits to hop onto the defending when they already have TONS of money to begin with. Ficking greedy ASSS.

Um....I seen alot of item suggestions in the other thread but it feels to me that we are still stuck on the good old way items are. Like theres those signature + mount/emit/gun/bomb slots....but why cant/dont we have normal items that takes up 2 different slots? For example: Flak Cannons (or insert some fancy name for Pd 2) Slots: Gun and Bomb bombdelay = 250..or more? Price: 50k or more/less? A pd where it doesnt take up a sig slot but doesnt allow people to rush well with it due to bombdelay not allowing people to item spam and you being not able to shoot anything at all. Offense Mount, Max: 1/2? Slots: Mount and Emitter thormax +1 burstmax +1 burstdamage +25 bulletdamage +1 Price: 15k A mount that increases the offense power of frontline attackers. Feather Boosters Slots: Sublight and Armor Speed +5 Thrust +5 Rotation +3 Maxspeed +1 Maxthrust +1 Bombdamage +10 Price: 30k? Taking the metal plating and using the space to increase thruster power. Though I dunno if people think it is a good idea. So opinions?

They may have less players if you didnt allow big squads to split into different divisions of 1, 2, etc. So.....its ok to do *warn randomly and say random things....and its the player's fault for taking it seriously? I assume that if staff introduced a bomb with 5000 bombenergy, 25 bombdelay or less, it wouldnt be overpowered to you seeing how we wouldnt be able to shoot it at all.

You should do weekly comedy corner. I love the Unix...er...i mean Player Bashing. I dont think the creation of Oppressors really matters since it didnt magically get added into the HSDT. Its funny how it consist of people who plays most in HS but then again, theres always these type of squad/clan in games. I gotta say, lotta ppl do cry about private......then in a few hrs they go on and make a priv themselves....nice. I also like the I carry myself thing...if you know what I mean ;D

Seriously, we do not need a bomb that has less delay than salvo. Most people have salvo cause of the low bomb delay so they can spam burst/reps/thors faster than ever. Making it only for empers means people will just make only those ships for rushing. Btw gar, its not that hard to make a jav/levi rushing ship seeing how a rushing ship is defined by how much they can spam items. Slap a rocket on a levi and u get a rushing levi, add some defense mount on jav and it becomes a rushing ship. Not very hard as long as you have the money to fuel your desires.

Instead of wasting time doing 1v1 duels where people bet money. Host something that the general public can all participate in.

I dont think you can sit at all without your !@#$%^&* or you will look ficking deformed lol Rather get a job that you hate (selling stuff to people which usually kills them slowly/painfully) but getting lots of money or get a job that you like with enough income to survive?

I find this style of turf is pretty newb friendly since they can be more active or is a more active/involving role then they would be if they were in the current basing style since 1 person doing things actually matter in turf. Problem I see is that if it ever becomes pub. It will cause this thing where once the # of players in game for rewards to be prized has been reached. People will be forced to play turf instead of continuing to center. Also I find too much of time during turf, its a hit and run kinda game where cloakers/fast ships fly in. Touch flags, fly around distracting players until they die. Thus, alot of time is wasted...not to mention the time required for people to travel from center safe to different sectors where their help is needed.

For some people zone alarm gets annoying as !@#$%^&* really fast. Since anytime something wants connection to your pc or any program that requires internet will cause Zone Alarm to do a mini popup asking you wtf you want it to do. Even thou theres always the check this box thingy, it gets annoying for a certain people.
