  1. Only problem with a summon delay is that summon might become obsolete, why bother with a $50,000 summon when it's no more useful than F7?
  2. Forcing players to use bombs, else living with incompetent damage to the turrets is hardly a way to balance the game.
  3. This really isn't that big of a deal.
  4. Really great, i'm glad to see that changes are in place. I would contribute myself (Hypocisy, I'd suppose), but I don't think I know enough C++ to do so. I do complain a lot, but one note about TacNuke There's not really much you can do to avoid a death by TacNuke. Ship 1 dies 50% of the time, even by an indirect hit, and other small ships aren't much different. Isn't there some way in which the reciever of the damage has some control of his fate? I personally think the prox is a little excessive, you could probably buff TacNuke to make it do better in bases, but lower the prox so it's not as good in center.
  5. If you can't argue, don't. This is not a valid argument, it's an argument by intimidation. Go ahead? You know, HS doesn't have to be facist, i'm not asking it for it to be. It's your choice wether or not to punish somebody. Why WOULD you punish somebody at any rate? You can't follow orders and kill off all the jews simply because you are told to. We don't have to live in that kind of a state in which you should not consider the reasoning behind what you're told to do. 250-4, Pianostool. Discuss. I wonder who those lucky four were that somehow managed to kill him? 10 is a rather large number, mostly because the problem itself is rather general, but if you insist... 1: Noobs who don't even have items don't get a chance to take advantage. 2: Pianostool. This alone should be enough. 3: Noobs don't have as many items, and don't have the same items. 4: Your precious zone playing style changes suddenly from who is best at the game, to who can rep, shipchange, and kill the fastest. Everybody's skill no longer exists. 5: Thor Storm, even though it's no longer an item. 6: Turrets that reship/summon and can not be attacked simply because of the frequency in which the deticated turrets accomplish this. 7: Rocket/Shredder will become the only way to kill enemies, and since it depends on the rockets, it'll still take advantage of this. 8: Certain ships (if not all) such as shark will become largely useless unless they use rockets 9: The ability to kill quickly will become far more useful than the ability to kill gracefully. 10: It's creating a lot more of a 'learning (buying) curve'. This does seem like a reiteration of #1, but the point remains that noobs will be far more likely to leave because they simply don't have the capacity to get the money. So what if they're granted $60000 for being a poor noob, they nonetheless wont have the opprotunity to have fun by gaining this money. I'm going to repeat myself. "How do you kill an HE Levi?" "You dont" - sound ... This is not a slight imbalance, This is the definition of invulnerability. Only reason why I still can play is because there are only a few like AoI Sakura and Pianostool.
  6. We know the reason, we want a solution.
  7. Update: Ship 1, same Ship 2, Actually really good. I kind of hate it because it's so good. Ship 3, It's a stupid ship, takes no skill, and kills a lot. But they're fun to kill so i'm not complaining. Ship 4, HE Levis are lame. TacNuke is useless. Ship 5, They're kinda weak Ship 6, HOLY **** EMP LASTS FOREVER. Seriously, increase top speed, and atleast fourth the EMP length. Ship 7, No need to comment Ship 8, Useless, still. It needs a use, I think it'd be cool if it could fit through 1x1 spaces, but that might cause lots of issues.
  8. Lol, this is a zone balance issue, not a - USE THE FORCE, LUKE - issue.
  9. First off, if you can't debate, don't. Thank you, Muskrat. Now, i'm not sure who actually listens to me (DeathBoy-Evil has reverted to ?ignore whenever I log on), but this is really all I ask: Add Reshipping to the list of rules. I don't care if you don't actively enforce it, simply because it's not a problem when nobody is affected by it. No one is gaining money or points by reshipping when nobody is around. But when you constantly reship, it becomes a huge problem, especially with new players that don't have that good of ships and items. So, if a reshipper is reported, investigate, if it's obvious that this person has been reshipping, punish them accordingly. Otherwise, there isn't much you should have to do. Thank you
  10. You know, I try to be reasonable, I try to be logical, I try to be rational, however, when there is such a huge, major imbalance, and as Sound said, "you don't" and can't kill reshippers, it's incredibly hard to have fun. I'm not TRYING to find something to whine about. I'm trying to make life more enjoyable for all of the new players, all of the fair players. People shouldn't have to suffer because an elite few monopolize on the imbalances of the zone. Even if the elite few is the majority, and I might add that it is so because all those who haven't have either left or been !@#$%^&*imilated.
  11. Hmm... Maybe there might be a slight... Imbalance in this zone?
  12. Weasel's health will be halfed, completely eliminating their purpose.
  13. I thought you were a mod?
  14. It seems that every problem boils down to reshipping. Why does nobody ever listen to me?
  15. Professional. Really. By the way, nobody has yet to answer the point of this topic: How do you kill much of anything that reships?
  16. I have a simple solution to your dilema: Rocket + brick. It's rather entertaining to see the 300 bounty drop to 120
  17. Umm... what if they reship to reagin reps??
  18. But uhh... what if they rep?
  19. I'd really like to know, I've never seen it happen, wondering if it's possible.
  20. Why not add an item, available to most ships (Except spider and shark, i must say) in the bomb section which increases another one of your stats. I am being a little vague, but I'm not asking for something specific, I just want an alternative to buying bombs and mines if I just don't feel like i'll ever need to use them. So if you want to use a gun only based ship, then you can buy this add-on, and you won't be able to use bombs, but your ship will be a little better because of it. Also, maybe, though it probably wont be necessary, would be to add the same type of things to the gun port. Only problem is that Levi's and Javs will be the only ones to have it.
  21. This won't work very well. This zone is geared to the low health, fast damage type of gameplay, in which you can kill people in less than 2 seconds of shooting at them. Reps and Bricks in bases are the only thing that stops people from dying in 2 seconds of pressing F7 (Or / Enter). Of course, I do agree that there are too many bricks, and I do agree that there are FAR too many reps, however, it would be a lot easier for flags to overturn to other players since flag battles will be fast paced and travel fast, so the 'better' team will win. Also, AntiDeath will suddenly become a necessity, not a commodity. Without enough reps and bricks, people with AD can get past half the army and burst through the rest. The obvious, but probably unviable one is making the ship more energy/damage balanced, and making rockets accelerate a whole lot less so it's unfeasible to use in most base situations.
  22. I shouldn't have to waste repels because they take advantage of the lack of rules. I should be able to kill people who reship whenever they have run out of their mul!@#$%^&*udes of reps
  23. Yes it is. If somebody reshipping is not bothering anybody, then there's no problem because it's not benefiting them. If it is bothering somebody, then WOW, REPORTED! What's the problem? Ok, here's an attempt to try to explain this. First of all. Towards what you said. Reshipping for items.. you want to make it illegal. "If somebody reshipping is not bothering anybody, then there's no problem because it's not benefiting them." "If it is bothering somebody, then WOW, REPORTED!" If it was made illegal, than both of these would be against the rule. Making it that whether it was bothering anyone or not. The moderators would have to do something about that person who is reshipping. The whole thing about reshipping for items not being easy to moderate is that, moderators are usually supposed to catch what happens before or during the process of it happening, that's so that we can take action at the very second. Moderators don't have the ability to scan the entire map every 2 seconds to check if someone is reshipping for thors, true.. though.. if it's really bothering someone than it should be reported. But chances are, a moderator will have missed it. If something is done to the person that has been suspected of reshipping for items, they'd probably say they weren't. And since reshipping is a constant thing in the zone for everyone, at certain times... It is very hard to moderate everyone who does it. Basically, Whether any of you think that it's easy to catch someone reshipping, it's not, and it would be a lot harder from a mod's perspective as well. AOI Sakura happens to have a rec of 156-9 Are all the mods here so retarted as to be unable to identfy a reshipper? And wouldn't it be easy to record when somebody reships, so that if it's being done excessively, it could be easily identifyable? In your entire post, you said very little, that my first two sentences didn't already explain against
  24. I think a wall that's owned by nobody, that you can use bouncing bullets/bombs off of would be a good addition. Of course, it'll be useless unless the user somehow is able to control the orientation in which it appears
  25. Yes it is. If somebody reshipping is not bothering anybody, then there's no problem because it's not benefiting them. If it is bothering somebody, then WOW, REPORTED! What's the problem?
