Please cite examples as all authorities I can find dictate them as non-lethal. I myself have been tased in demonstrations for self-defense courses(my sister teaches them), where they are classified as non-lethal and I know that at least the sheriff's office along with the P.D. where I live, also declare them non-lethal. For every source you may be able to produce stating they're lethal, I could produce 10 stating otherwise. Even if "your" is used to dictate a group, you're allocating me to that group. By indicating "need", instead of "would need", you are indicating that I am indeed in "silence", thus effectively dictating my state of being. Ultimately this is neither here nor there. Unfortunately all government is not just, simply because all men are not just. I don't know the circumstances behind your arrest/citation, but just so you know, a majority of police cars have video and audio recorders that you can implement in defense of your case. Unfortunately, I don't know what state you are in and the office did act out of accord, but in the majority of states, you are required, if in a motor vehicle, to present your drivers license to a police officer if he is enforcing provisions of the vehicle code of that state. Again I will state that the police officer did not act within accord of the law, in addition the law does tend to defend the officer, but I would hypothesize that to be the exception, not the rule. Again, unfortunate in your case, but no government, nor the people in that government are perfect. Not saying I condone this by any means and in fact if you could even go about contacting different media outlets concerning this case, but I as a whole feel this is the exception.

Aye, I was more posting that statement on a broad level in support of other statements I had made. Else I would have phrased the statement more so as: The concept that a man who constantly has his property vandalized, his home ravaged, his livelihood diminished by continuously trespassing offenders, who continue to do so after he makes accommodations for the same illegal trespassers on his property, should be denied the right to defend that very same property with a gun, is taking away his right to defend his property, livelihood and family. As to the magnitude of threat, there are 16 people unknown to a man trespassing on his property, following a route commonly known for drug trafficking, which is also the same route traveled by other vandals who have desecrated his property. I feel that would give any man the right to use a firearm in a threatening manner.

Actually a taser gun is a non-lethal weapon that can cause lethal body reactions in a minority of people. That's like taking aspirin, having an allergic reaction, dying and having your family sue saying it's a lethal drug. What you are saying makes no sense. First off you state that I cannot possibly know the state of others, yet you dictate to me my own state of being? Which was a poor assumption in the first place being I have not posted any of my personal beliefs on the matter in question, thus making an inference as to how I feel about a situation impossible. Next you are assuming that people who are not actively rebelling against current policy would not rebel against you. Simply because someone is not actively burning a flag on their lawn doesn't mean they're a passive sheep waiting to be led with the flock. Again simply having power over another does not make you their god, lord or master. You will never be their god, rarely be their lord and definitely not their master. You talk of arrogance, yet I say the biggest ignorance is to believe that you can become the god of another man. Man will rebel when he must, adapt when he must and endure when he must. My question for you would be what laws do we have that you consider unjust? Considering these laws, what civil disobedience are you enacting to protest said laws? I would like to hear your personal righteousness in action if you don't mind accommodating us. You cite that government can manipulate religion, where as it has been the case through out human history, that government has been manipulated by religion.

Aye, it is the reformat, which I do about every 6 months.

Yeah but I don't see how being able to sue someone for trespassing on their property and having them threaten you with a fire arm should be illegal. You are taking away the whole concept of self defense. I also find it funny that if someone captures a fugitive, they're a hero. This man catches illegal immigrants to defend his property so he's just out pulling guns on trespassers on his property for the fun of it? I mean do you honestly think that his man can realistically(fiscally too) create a better barrier around his 22,000 acre compound than we have at the Mexico/American border? No matter what passive measures he takes, they will make it through. Note: He may have barbed wire up, we don't know. Again he would most likely get sued for doing that too for "knowing endangering illegal immigrants". God I love the double standards in our country.

That is true, I do believe back in 06' it was 45 days you could be held in the UK under suspicion of terrorism. Part of the problem we have with Iraq, as will all of the middle east, is that their religion plays a large impact in their laws. With their customs foreign to us, they don't always fall into our concept of justice.

It's great to be the great anarchist against the evil that is government and with all men as cattle, that you are the only enlightened one in the world, but until you are Jesus, Muhammad, (Insert religious prophet here) you are no more enlightened that anyone else educated in the matter. That is a false statement again. Most men will never know truly who they are but will instead decide who they are not. The only way you can blind someone, as to cattle them is for them to be truly and unequivocally lost as to the man/woman they are.
-
Dear God, I am but a simple man beast. I need you to herd me like sheep and whip me like cattle. While you're at it, would you hold my hand too? Sincerely, (Insert religion here) Funny parallel eh?

Tigron, As much as I respect your hippie love mentality the brutal truth is that things are not so simple. You register as a citizen of a country for many benefits, as well as limitations. Illegal immigrants have no labor laws. Legal immigrants/immigrant citizens have all federal and state labor laws. Illegal immigrants pay no taxes. Legal immigrants/immigrant citizens pay taxes. Illegal immigrants have basic human rights. Legal ... have the rights dictated by the U.S. constitution for American citizens. Illegal immigrants have no rights to social security, unemployment, welfare, food stamps, assisted living, credit, ect. (For the most part). Legal ... do. Illegal immigrants have no outlet for a legitimate job. Legal ... do. I mean I could go on and on. In reality knowing who you are, besides for your self esteem, doesn't get you anywhere. Funny that you use corporate and government as one entity, because anyone who knows the reality of the U.S. knows that while corporations, thus conglomerates of powerful people, hold a larger sway, but are surely no where near synonymous with our government. Argue the semantics/morality of grouping people together but every group of people is characterized in some way. You yourself without knowing group people as soon as you meet them/once you get to know them/once you know someone well. Ultimately ethnic grouping is just a broad basis to judge people from different racial/ethnic properties/backgrounds. This is the very basis of racism and is wrong, but it is also inevitable until people stop calling us by our past countries/continents of origin and start calling us what we really are, Americans. Even at that, just on a basis of crime as above, if a certain people will call racism towards their skin color, their will be statistics to prove why it's not racism just fact. If I had to bet, you'd be just as outraged to see "People who have extreme dark pigmentation in their skin, who most closely identify themselves as "black", commit more crimes than people with rather light (natural) pigmentation in their skin, who most closely identify themselves as "white"."

That coupled with the fact that if you bring Bush to trial you have to bring Spain and the UK too, and I don't think anyone is ready for another world war.
-
Actually not true. Caucasians have the lowest crime rate in all of America except for Asian-Americans. Also the majority of illegal immigrants send money to their families in other countries, thus cutting out on taxes and deporting money with no return. It makes no sense to deport illegal immigrants? Why, do we as America need to be the charity of the world? We have enough problems maintaining our own citizens and now we have to worry about supporting another 5 million illegal citizens, who really don't contribute anything besides cheap labor for ethnically compromised businessmen? If Mexico/Central America is struggling that much, work with them to make it easier for immigrants to LEGALLY come to America. Just ignoring the illegal immigrants doesn't help anyone, well except for the illegals. The only reason why illegal immigrants are part of the economy is because they are illegal. A rancher can pay an illegal $3 a day to work his ranch, with no benefits or any paperwork and get a full days work. That immigrant becomes legal and now he has to pay him the federal minimum wage per hour and have him on his books.
-
You're right there aren't many democratic justice systems like the UK where they can hold you for up to two weeks in jail with no reason (Under the terrorism act of 2000).
-
Are you freaking serious? This mans ranch, all 22,000 acres of it is valued at $34,000,000 dollars. He is a rancher, this is his home, livelihood and life. That is why he was putting so much effort into it. For him it's not like he can just up and move to a different location, nor should he have to. A couple of rows are barbed wire? Pedro: Hey look man...they put up barbed wire... Pablo: No shit man? Pedro: Yeah holmes, don't know what we're gonna do now... Pablo: Well guess back to Mexico it is... Pedro: Yeah...and we came this far... Pablo: But that barbed wire man...no way we can get past that! I mean with all of the things they go through to get to America, do you really think barbed wire would help? Besides he'd most likely get sued by the exact same group for intentionally trying to cause harm to illegal immigrants. What you forget to mention is that they are trespassers on his private property where trespasser are frequent and cause massive amounts of damage to his property and livelihood.

Actually using math you can prove the mathematical concept of infinity. From the American Heritage Dictionary: In fact the very concept of infinity (as we know it) is derived from math itself. An asymptote an exact example of mathematical infinity. In a basic Asymptote you are assuming if you take the limit of X->inf for F(x)=A that F(x), no matter how large you make the number, or small inversely, can never possibly be equal to the number A. On a basic level if you start counting from 1, you never find a number you cannot count to. Thus the concept of an indefinitely large number, or quantity, or simply infinity.
-
I misinterpreted that towards immigrants as a whole. Which was what I was referring to.
-
Maybe I should install the client again...Maybe.
-
And having more immigrants in America will help that? I fail to see how seeing illegal immigrants leaving America is something that any American should be sad about.
-
So wait let me get this straight...It would be too much trouble to do anything about the illegal immigrants so let's do nothing? Oh that sounds like a winner to me.
-
I say good riddance because the more illegal immigrants that leave the country, the more Americans will be forced to work those jobs. Yes Americans don't want these jobs over the past decade, but now they're getting a reality check. Their cushy 60-100k a year jobs have gone away. They need to pay bills, eat, support their kids ect. These people will start taking these jobs soon enough and at this point I'd rather see a tax paying American citizen working than an illegal immigrant.

I do have to weigh in on some of this. For Tigron's interpretation of: Is correct. You quantify his argument with a belief of yours that is not proven. You state that because you do not believe the Big Bang to require infinite energy, that God and infinity are not interchangeable? How does that prove or disprove any statement? All that does is state that in your opinion you do not believe God to be infinite. I do agree. I agree with Tigron on the fact that it is not a belief in God that would deny science, but a manipulation of faith in religion that would do so. Isaac Newton is a great example of this. Ultimately you guys are arguing the age old argument. Tigron cannot finitely prove that there is a God, but he can use many statements and situations to support it (Big Bang, Miracles, ect.). Sever cannot finitely refute the existence of God, but he can also use many statements, mainly science to support his theory. With no means available today, perhaps ever, will you ever be able to prove or disprove the argument. I know that the basis of this argument is whether God is infinite or not, which no matter how you dress the pig, is the same old argument. As if God was finite, by the very definition you would be able to prove God's existence, or lack there of.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/US/02/10/immigrant...nomy/index.html I love how CNN presents this story like we should feel bad for poor Pedro. Good riddance.

yeah...in fact they must use cold water to shower...and a little hamster on a wheel to power his PC.

I believe they are talking about trying to bring Bush up on war crimes for invading Iraq primarily.
