thinking back to the stats of oldschool warbird, it was jsut regular warbird + a discount then i look at nightswap and we have 2 +30's and no minus's if you are going to make the nightwasp so powerfull, you must contiuue the trend down the list of new ships, basicly each new ship must be the same + better as the old ship may i be so kind as to ask the stats for future 'oldschol ships' be as follows nightwasp (keep the same +30attack/+30 sentry) warbird (+40% discount, +15 income, +30defence, 0atack, 0spy, 0 sentry javlin (+45% discount, +30 atack, +30 defence , 0spy 0 sentry) spider (+50% discount 0 attack 0 defence +30 spy + 30 sentry) levitian (+55% discount 60% casualty , +30% attack, 0 def, 0 spy 0 sentry)

I dont mean to be a drag but its clear that deva is as dead - or more so than it has been in a long time after long talks with tm, ive come to a conclusion. Re-birth of SSCI devastation does not involve in a significant way the creation of sub-arena's or side events. re-population of devastation can only come with one thing, change to how its played. for a long time ive realized that there is very little point to pub in deva however fun it may be. People like to think they accomplised somthing after they get finished a game. As for pub in devastation, random killing, spreeing, basing is all rather random, there is no order to devastation , its literaly confusion and run by players who have an idea of whats going on that is to say devastation is still an awsome zone, and killing newbs is awsome, but there has to be more .. there has to be basing basing? someone runs away with the flags and you in turn are suposed to chase them, not hard to just run away and win... it usualy takes some initiative to go to a base run alllll the way to the back and claim 'neut the flags' for a seemingly endless night of "RAISING THE JACKPOT" so you can eventualy give up and log out, or one team will try to win and the other will scramble to try to stop them and then do the same. the winner is decided by who has the ability to maintain the defence until the jackpot is at a suitable pointrange that they decide to win. so... The entire point of the game is to play until someone decides THEY want to win ("they" will be the defenders and "they" will choose when the time to win is) i belive thats why devastation has failed recently. Why play a game with really no purpose .. at all? its like A triple negative ( the negative aspect is canceld by the negative to give positive .. however a triple negative just makes it all the more negative.. yea its that bad) devastation pub needs somthing, it needs purpose it needs a style of gameplay that is enjoyed and will draw people to it rather than vetren players telling others to come hang out and do somthing meaningless for a couple hours ----------------------------------------- to sum it up, pub needs purpose http://uploadingit.com/files/74922_xwdsa/devastyle.JPG take this picture.. its a simplified version of deva pubmap with areas located in the squares and given names A,B,C,D,1,2,3,4 , the middle is of course in the middle unchanged and marked by a 'x' now bare with me as the idea can work in theory but i do not know of the dificulties in actualy doing this the 8 area's marked by letters and numbers are the capture area's and at the start of the round are all NEUTRAL, the purpose of the game is to own all 8 capture points. to do this is a task which will require teamwork, skill, time, and passion (lol) --- at the start of a new game, each team will receive 4 RANDOM areas (see picture) http://uploadingit.com/files/74948_9ozqx/controlpoint.JPG then its up to the players to go to the enemy territory and attempt a 'takeover' --- a takeover: takeover is simply when an enemy freq's ship enters your owned location and 'wins' the stationary flag at the end of base/location. -- laming (this is a new style of play and bugs are sure to be found so lets deal with this issue of laming) .. you can imagine it being as simple as 4 ships successfully flying to each of the enemy bases and winning almost instantly however counter measures must be made and an appropriate game style must be addapted once the bases/locations flag is touched by an enemy ship a notification will pop up saying 'base will be lost in X time' meaning you must defend that base for X time before its changed to your ownership (however..) it would only be probable to do one base at a time meaning once a base flag is taken, all other base flags will undergo lockdown? and just be ungettable until the base at hand is delt with for the appropriate X- time (flag would get enclosed in doors? making it imposible) (screenshot to come eventualy for those who cant visualize what im trying to say) once an area is 'won' by holding for x-time, that area is itself 'locked' up (probly using doors to enclose the stationary flag) and likewise all other 'locked down' flags are unlocked becoming accesable the team is then required to continue on the rampage and take the remaining 3 locations i am not sure if permanant lockdown of ' won' areas should be used to speed up the game so it would only be posible to 100% own the enemy territory and be able to 100% lose your own territory which could be intresting.. basicly just read what i said, try to understand it, comment, discuss, add, do what ever.. because the point remains if nothing is changed deva WILL die eventualy.. we need to keep it fresh and new.. this idea may be a long shot, but while i was thinking it up it sure sounded like it could be compe!@#$%^&*ive and fun --- lol just thought of the style of play this is, kind of like a hybrid TURF war / capture the point with devastation settings, an intresting new twist on oldschool devastation

was reading some topic and i so happend to glance at his signature and read that 'freedom' is aparently un inherited and must be worked for to have now the question..? why would anyone think that ..? why is freedom even on the bargaining table..? now i worked in a union for a year .. i was what you call a shop stuward (basicly was present juring forman to worker conflicts as a moderator),basically just a union !@#$%^&* wanting to waste time at work by going to fancy meetings... BUT.. i did learn a few things about nagotiations and how it all works i joined my former company juring a time of NO CONTRACT , basicly the old 3year contract expired and 'talks' were in the process to discuss the new contract. And for some reason someone threw on the 'table' our long term disability and tried to do away with it. Why would you even bring up long term disability as debatable?? of course we turned the agreement down and went on a strike and won with a more appropriate contract. now my point.. why would freedom have ever been put into the catagory of 'you gota fight for freedom' , or 'freedom comes with a price' no it does not. Freedom is itself Free.. but at the hands of governments can turn sour, they can manipulate 'freedom' into 'not-freedom' .. to be blunt.. the fact that a quote like that even exists and that someone is EVEN willing to quote it.Im sure the fine people of this forum read it and agreed with it because thats what you assume is right, you were always told you gota work to be free.. !@#$%^&* braveheart the movie said it best.. FOR FREEDOM!!!!! however you never have to work for freedom, it in itself is always given to everyone when they are born , as soon as i take my first breath i am free. i think you are going at the debate the wrong way its not what is in the bible that matters at all.. its the fact that as humans we question everything.. we are born with the strange ability to question; nothing else that we know of has this (plants, animals.. they cant question stuff.
